Therefore, it is called the view of increase. Among these, the view of deception refers to a Bodhisattva with the view of increase who deceives merit with the thought of merit towards oneself and others. Therefore, it is called the view of deception. Among these, the view of non-commitment refers to a Bodhisattva who contemplates the signless and thinks, 'If all phenomena are non-existent, and I argue with others, I will not commit to any side of my own. I will simply become a formless being.' Therefore, it is called the view of non-commitment. Among these, the view of deceit refers to a Bodhisattva who contemplates the signless and does not commit to any side. When establishing non-existence according to the literal meaning, it becomes a combination of concealment and hiding. The combination of concealment and hiding is called deceitful speech. Therefore, it is called the view of deceit. Among these, the view of cutting off with annihilation refers to a Bodhisattva who holds the view of non-commitment and speaks with the view of deceit. Because their speech is meaningless, wise individuals will always cut them off with annihilation. Therefore, it is called the view of cutting off with annihilation. Among these, the view of considering respect refers to a Bodhisattva who contemplates the signless and thinks, 'Relying on such views as those spoken by the Tathagata is to respect, honor, and emulate the teacher, but it is not offering.' Therefore, it is called the view of considering respect. Among these, the view of slander refers to a Bodhisattva who holds the view of considering respect and slanders the Tathagata, not merely being disrespectful. Therefore, it is called the view of slander. Among these, the view of steadfast ignorance refers to a Bodhisattva who contemplates the signless and does not cling to the literal meaning. Even when other Bodhisattvas who contemplate without inversion show reason and refute in various ways, they cannot be moved from that view. Therefore, it is called the view of steadfast ignorance. Among these, the view of non-speaking refers to a Bodhisattva with the view of steadfast afflictions, which is called the view of non-speaking. Among these, the great view is

All those twenty-six views are called great views. Why is that? Because these views are not as sinful as the sixty-two views that arise from the root of the view of the assembly of destruction, which is not as it is. Therefore, they are called great views. For example, a Bodhisattva thinks of what is not Dharma as Dharma, and thinks of what is not meaning as meaning. Like this, without seeing, he speaks of seeing, endlessly holding onto karmic obscurations, and with the karma of being deprived of Dharma, pervades the world. The views that arise from the root of the view of the assembly of destruction do not pervade the world with the karma of being deprived of Dharma like that. Among them, the view of pride is the great view itself, called the view of pride. Because one manifests arrogance towards the meaning of the Dharma of the Great Vehicle as if it were literal, this wrong view arises. Therefore, it is called the view of pride. For this, a Bodhisattva does not take the Great Vehicle literally, but individually examines the meaning arising from the intention in accordance with the Dharma. If there are no views of the noble ones, these views will not arise. Faith arises in the Great Vehicle, and it manifests in the mind. Therefore, following the Great Vehicle that is in accordance with proper attention, generating faith in the Great Vehicle is of great significance. One also thinks of Dharma as Dharma, and also thinks of meaning as meaning. This is what arises from the attention of faith in the Great Vehicle for the sake of the Bodhisattva's Great Vehicle. The end of the second chapter. The Bodhisattva asks with great skillful means of faith. Lord, from what kind of conduct does the faith in the Great Vehicle arise for the Bodhisattvas for the sake of the Great Vehicle? The Lord replied: Son of good family, here, how does the Bodhisattva write, hold, remember, offer, explain to others, read, listen, recite, chant the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, and also extensively explain to other beings, properly contemplate, and how is that
