O, for the sake of countless immeasurable beings, to completely pacify the essence of the Buddha-fields' land and the evils of sentient beings' abodes, to fully ripen sentient beings, to completely exhaust all non-virtuous deeds, and to ensure the long-lasting existence of the Three Jewels' lineage, up to the complete accomplishment of all the Buddha's intentions. Holding the Dharma-nature equality, like a vajra, relying on the essence of Dharma, the Dharani Mudra called 'Destroying the Body with the Essence of Dharma,' and entering into the various distinctions of words, this category of prophesied Dharma, with blessings, so too should you bless and protect. Whatever accumulation of merit is manifested by the root of virtue of truly protecting my sacred Dharma; whatever is recited, read, remembered, spoken, and explained; whatever accumulation of merit is manifested by the root of virtue of taking refuge in the Three Jewels, upholding the lay vows, and abiding in pure conduct; whatever is from meditating on the first dhyana up to meditating on the cessation of perception and feeling; whatever accumulation of merit is from manifesting the fruit of stream-entry up to manifesting the enlightenment of Buddhahood; whatever such accumulation of merit, the root of virtue that is manifested, is done now, and will be done in the future, up to the time when the lamp of my sacred Dharma will be lit, all those accumulations of merit are entrusted to your hands. Whatever those who strive to ignite the Dharma-nature of the Tathagata's enlightened Dharma, their accumulation of merit is also entrusted to your hands. In the future, whoever holds this category of Dharma, even writing it on books, and holding it, they too will purify all karmas with this category of Dharma.
