坐在具……者之前，眷属中的魔子名为胜慧者合掌说道：为何您如此愤怒，极度激动，心不悦？焚劫今日未至，您未从此地迁移。此地您无更胜的敌人，您为何迷惑，为何另作他想？魔说道：你未见释迦子在树荫下休息吗？为何说此处您前无有力量的敌人？具力狡诈者以多种方式欺骗一切。我们与子嗣眷属一同被火焰燃烧。此世间，士夫之首，光荣与名声远扬，智者勤奋著述众多论典诗歌，迅速和谐。以正法之轭牵引，释迦子今日已皈依。身美狡诈具慧者，此乃我之大敌。极其可憎之侍女，无有怜悯舍弃我。以我为证，今日投奔沙门。若我们不迅速努力，今日将此大力者化为灰烬，则以狡诈与幻术，三有世界将全部毁灭。之后，魔子及其眷属们都合掌说道：如是行之。我们将示现神通与力量之域的威力，以及种种化现。若能将此释迦子化为灰烬，则善哉。若不能，则将皈依于他。此乃于您尊父之前显现之事。先前我们大军围绕，释迦子独自一人，无有第二者，以神通力彻底击败，何况如今已有多位侍女。恶魔说道：面容姣好者，若今日能杀死沙门乔达摩，就回来吧！若不能，也请守护我们的住所，再回来吧！之后，十二个魔众眷属从那里升起，从这里向上升到八万四千由旬的高度。

Sitting before the one with..., the demon son named Victorious Intellect, from among that retinue, joined his palms and spoke thus: Why are you so angry, extremely agitated, and displeased? The burning aeon has not yet arrived today, you have not moved from here. There is no greater enemy than you here, why are you confused, why do you think otherwise? The demon said: Have you not seen the son of the Shakya resting in the shade of the tree? Why do you say that there is no powerful enemy before you here? That cunning one with power has deceived everything in various ways. We, along with our children and retinue, are burned by the fire with blazing flames. In this world, the chief of men, glorious and renowned, the wise one diligently composes many treatises and poems, quickly and harmoniously. Having been drawn by the yoke of Dharma, the son of the Shakya has taken refuge today. This beautiful-bodied, cunning, and intelligent one is my great enemy. Those extremely hateful servants, without compassion, have abandoned me. Taking me as a witness, they have taken refuge in the Shramana today. If we do not quickly strive and turn this powerful one to ashes today, then with cunning and illusion, the three realms will be completely destroyed. Then, the demon sons and their retinue all joined their palms and said: We will do so. We will show all the power of the realm of magic and strength, and all kinds of manifestations. If we can turn this son of the Shakya to ashes, then it is good. If we cannot, then we will take refuge in him. This is what happened in the presence of your venerable father. Previously, we were surrounded by a large army, and the son of the Shakya, alone and without a second, completely defeated us with his magical power, what need to mention now that he has many servants. The wicked demon said: Those with beautiful faces, if you can kill the Shramana Gautama today, come back! If you cannot, please protect our abode and come back! Then, those twelve demon retinues rose from there, rising upwards from here to a height of eighty-four thousand yojanas.

所有一切都被加持为七宝。具足无能见顶髻的薄伽梵，以身自在于梵天世界。仅仅从薄伽梵的每一个名号中，都产生了这样的光芒，那光芒以巨大的光明遍布三千大千世界。这个三千大千世界中的天、龙、夜叉、乾闼婆、阿修罗、迦楼罗、紧那罗、大腹行、饿鬼、罗刹、鸠槃荼、人、非人、地狱众生、畜生之生处者、阎罗世界者，所有这些都见到了薄伽梵。天、龙、夜叉、乾闼婆、阿修罗、迦楼罗、紧那罗、大腹行、人和非人，安住于大地和虚空中的成百上千的人们，散花赞颂并绕行。地狱众生、畜生之生处者、阎罗世界者，无数不可动摇的百千俱胝，都获得了忆念，忆起了先前所造的善根，说道：向佛陀顶礼！从那些恶趣中死去，转生为天人。魔众之中，魔子两万眷属，见此薄伽梵之大神通，对薄伽梵生起极大欢喜，前往薄伽梵所在之处。与五百魔女一起，以头顶礼薄伽梵之足，合掌说了这些偈颂： 具足清净身，最极妙好色， 智慧如海藏，犹如金须弥。 名声遍世界，光明显赫者， 怙主您跟前，我等皆皈依。 极度迷失路，双目皆紧闭， 您如世间灯，犹如大日轮。 他者不能胜，众生唯一根， 导师您跟前，我等皆皈依。 极其积聚资，智慧财富库， 虚空之自性，本初即解脱。 悲心与意乐，悦意又可喜

All were blessed into the seven precious things. The Bhagavan, endowed with the invisible crown, exercised bodily power up to the world of Brahma. From each name of the Bhagavan, such light arose that the light pervaded the trichiliocosm with great illumination. All the gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, pretas, rakshasas, kumbhandas, humans, non-humans, hell beings, animal births, and denizens of Yama's world in this trichiliocosm saw the Bhagavan. Hundreds of thousands of gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans, and non-humans, dwelling on earth and in the sky, scattered flowers, praised, and circumambulated. Hundreds of thousands of billions of hell beings, animal births, and denizens of Yama's world, immovable, regained their memory, remembered the roots of virtue previously created, and said, "We prostrate to the Buddha!" Having died and transmigrated from those evil destinies, they were born as gods. From within that host of demons, the demon's son, together with a retinue of twenty thousand, saw such great miracles of the Bhagavan. They became greatly delighted with the Bhagavan and went to where the Bhagavan was. Together with five hundred demon daughters, they bowed their heads at the feet of the Bhagavan, folded their palms, and spoke these verses: Possessing a pure body, supremely beautiful in form, A sea of wisdom, like a golden Mount Meru. Your fame spread throughout the world, shining brightly, O Protector, we take refuge in you. Utterly lost on the path, with eyes completely closed, You are like a lamp in the world, like the sun. Unconquerable by others, the one root of beings, O Guide, we take refuge in you. A treasury of wisdom and wealth, accumulated with great effort, Your mind is the nature of space, liberated from the beginning. Compassion, intention, pleasing and delightful.
