ངོ་། །དེ་དག་གིས་མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བ་དང་རངས་པ་སྐྱེས་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །གང་གི་ཕྱིར་འོད་མའི་ཚལ་དུ་འདི་ལྟ་བུའི་མེ་ཏོག་གི་ཆར་རབ་ཏུ་བབ་ཅེས་དགེ་སློང་དེ་དག་ཐེ་ཚོམ་སྐྱེས་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དང་། མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་གཡོག་དང་བཅས་པ་འདི་གཉིས་ལ་ངོ་མཚར་དང་རྨད་དུ་བྱུང་བ་ཆེན་པོ་སྔོན་མ་མཐོང་མ་ཐོས་པའི་མེ་ཏོག་གི་ཆར་ཆེན་པོ་རབ་ཏུ་བབ་པ་ལགས་སམ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་འདིའི་རྒྱུ་ཅི་ལགས། རྐྱེན་གང་ལགས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་འདི་གཉིས་ཀྱི་མཐུ་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ། བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་གྱི་གཡོག་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་གྱིས་བདུད་ཀྱི་ཁང་པ་དེ་ནས་ང་ལ་མཆོད་པ་བྱ་བའི་ཕྱིར་འདི་ལྟ་བུའི་མེ་ཏོག་གི་ཆར་ཆེན་པོ་ནས་རྒྱན་གྱི་བར་གྱི་ཆར་ཕབ་བོ། །དེ་དག་རིང་པོ་མི་ཐོགས་པར་འདིར་འོངས་ཏེ། ང་ལས་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་ལུང་བསྟན་པ་འཐོབ་བོ། །དེ་ནས་བདུད་ཀྱི་བུ་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་པོ་དེ་དག་སོ་སོ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་གསུང་དང་བརྗོད་པའི་དབྱངས་ཐོས་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་དེ་བས་ཀྱང་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བ་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། དེ་དག་དགའ་བ་དང་རངས་པ་དེས་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་སེམས་བརྗེད་པ་མེད་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་ཐོབ་བོ། །དེ་ནས་ཡང་བདུད་ཀྱི་བུ་མོ་དེ་དག་བདུད་ཀྱི་ཁང་པ་དེར་གོས་ཕྲག་པ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བགོས་ཏེ། པུས་མོ་གཡས་པའི་ལྷ་ང་ས་ལ་བཙུགས་ནས་ཐལ་མོ་སྦྱར་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཕྱོགས་གང་ན་བཞུགས་པའི་ཕྱོགས་དེར་བལྟས་ནས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །སྲེད་ཆུ་མ་ལུས་སྐེམས་པའི་འགྲོ་བའི་མིག་གཅིག་པུ། །མིག་མ་མཆིས་པའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཀུན་ལ་གཟིགས་ནས་ནི། །ཁྱོད་དེང་ལྷ་དང་མིར་བཅས་པ་ཡི་འགྲོ་བ་སྒྲོལ། །ཐུབ་པ་བདག་ཅག་ཇི་ལྟར་མྱུར་དུ་སངས་རྒྱས་འགྱུར། །ལྷ་དང་མིས་མཆོད་དོན་དམ་གསུང་བ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས། །བདག་ཅག་འཐུན་པར་བུད་མེད་སྨད་པ་ཉིད་སྤངས་ནས། །བློ་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་འཕྲུལ་གྱི་དྲུང་དུ་མྱུར་བར་ནི། །མཆིས་ནས་འདི་བཞིན་ཐུབ་པའི་དབང་པོའི་གསུང་མཉན་ཏོ། །བདག་ མེད་གསུང་བ་དོན་དམ་གཟིགས་པ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས། །བྱང་ཆུབ་ཡན་ལག་རིན་ཆེན་དྲི་མེད་ནོར་གསུང་སྒྲོན། །མཚུངས་མེད་བདུད་ཀྱི་སྟོབས་བཏུལ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་བདག་ཅག་ལ། །ད་ལྟར་མྱུར་དུ་ལྷན་ཅིག་བྱང་ཆུབ་ལུང་བསྟན་གསོལ། །དེ་ནས་བདུད་ཀྱི་བུ་མོ་དེ་དག་སྟན་ལས་ལངས་ནས་མགྲིན་གཅིག་ཏུ་བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཉེས་བྱས་བློ་གྲོས་ཅན་ཁྱོད་སྙིང་པོ་མེད་གཡོ་བའི། །དཔལ་རྙེད་ཅི་ཕྱིར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་སྡང་བར་སེམས། །དྲེགས་པས་གོས་ནས་སྐྱེ་བ་ལ་སོགས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱིས། ། ལུས་ཀུན་གཙེས་ཏེ་མི་བཟད་གནས་སུ་ཉེ་བར་སོང་། །དེ་ལྟར་ཁྲོ་བ་སྤངས་ཏེ་རྒྱལ་ལ་དད་པར་གྱིས། །འཁོར་བའི་ཉེས་པ་དྲེགས་པའི་འདམ་ལས་ཐར་བའི་བདག །འདི་ནི་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་འགྲོ་བ་ཀུན་གྱི་ངོ་བོ་མཁྱེན། །ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཅན་གྱི་སྐྱབས་སུ་འདོང་གིས་མྱུར་དུ་བཞུད། །དེ་ནས་བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་ཤིན་ཏུ་གདུག་པའི་ཡིད་དང་ལྡན་པ་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། བདག་གིས་འདི་འདྲ་བའི་བདུད་ཀྱི་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་དྲག་པོ་དྲན་པར་བྱས་ལ། གང་གཡོག་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་པོ་འདི་དག་བདག་ཉིད་བཅིང་བ་ལྔས་བཅིངས་པར་མཐོང་བར་བྱས་ཏེ། འདི་ནས་བཟློག་ལ་འགྲོ་མི་ནུས་པར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་པ་དང་། བདུད་དེས་དེ་དག་བཅིངས་པར་མ་ནུས་སོ། །དེ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེ་ན། འདི་ལྟར་གཡོག་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་པོ་དེ་དག་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས་པའི་ཕྱིར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་གཡོག་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་དེ་དག་བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་གྱི་དྲུང་ནས་དོང་བ་དང་། དེ་ནས་བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་རབ་ཏུ་ཁྲོས་ཏེ་དེ་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ། །བདག་གིས་ཡང་འདི་འདྲ་བའི་བདུད་ཀྱི་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་དྲག་པོ་དྲན་པར་བྱས་ཏེ། ཅི་ནས་བདག་གིས་གཡོག་མོ་དེ་དག་ཕྱོགས་དང་ཕྱོགས་མཚམས་ཐམས་ཅད་འཁྲུལ་ནས་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གཽ་ཏ་མ་མི་མཐོང་ཞིང་སླར་ཡང་བདག་གི་གནས་སུ་འོང་བར་ནམ་མཁའ་འདི་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་རྣམ་པར་འཐོར་རླུང་དང་། རླུང་ནག་པོ་ཆེན་པོས་ཀུན་ཏུ་ཁྱབ་པར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་ན་ཡང་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས་ཀྱི་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་རླུང་ཅུང་ཟད་ཀྱང་ལངས་པར་བྱེད་མ་ནུས་སོ། །ཐ་ན་སྐྲའི་རྩེ་མོ་གཅིག་ཙམ་ཡང་བསྐྱོད་མ་ནུས་ན་མང་དུ་ལྟ་ཅི་སྨོས། དེ་ནས་ཡང་བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་རབ་ཏུ་ཁྲོས་ཤིང་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཏེ་ཡིད་མི་བདེ་ཞིང་ཡིད་ལ་གཅགས་ནས་ངུ་ཞིང་སྐད་ཆེན་ པོས་རང་གི་བུ་དང་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལ་བོས་ཏེ་བདུད་ཀྱི་གནས་ཐམས་ཅད་སྒྲས་གང་བར་བྱས་སོ། །སྡུག་པའི་བུ་དང་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་རྣམས་ཚུར་ཤོག་ཤིག། ང་ནི་བདག་ཡུལ་རང་གི་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་སྟོབས་ལས་ཉམས། །ཤཱཀྱའི་བུ་འདི་སྒྱུ་ལྡན་གཡོ་ཅན་ངག་འཇམ་ལ། །ཁོང་ནས་རང་བཞིན་དུག་སྡོང་འདྲ་བ་འདིར་སྐྱེས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་སྒྲ་དེས་བདུད་ཀྱི་གཡོག་མོ་དང་། བདུད་ཀྱི་བུ་མོ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་། བདུད་ཀྱི་བུ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་རིངས་པའི་གཟུགས་ཀྱིས་མྱུར་དུ་ལྷགས་ནས། བདུད་སྡིག

Oh! Having seen that, they also felt great joy and delight. Because such a rain of flowers fell in the Garden of Light, those monks became doubtful and asked the Blessed One. Blessed One, is it that Shariputra and Maudgalyayana and their attendants have experienced a great wonder and marvel, and a great rain of flowers, never seen or heard before, has fallen? Blessed One, what is the cause of this? What is the reason? The Blessed One said: Son of good family, this is not the power of these two, but about five hundred maids of the evil Mara, in order to make offerings to me from the house of Mara, have caused such a great rain of flowers, even a rain of ornaments, to fall. Before long, they will come here and receive the prediction of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment from me. Then, each of those five hundred daughters of Mara, having heard the words and the voice of the Blessed One, felt even greater joy towards the Blessed One, and with that joy and delight they attained the samadhi called "Unforgetting the Mind of Enlightenment." Then, again, those daughters of Mara, in that house of Mara, bared one shoulder, knelt on their right knees, joined their palms, and looked towards the direction in which the Blessed One was dwelling, and prayed thus: You who have dried up the water of desire, the only eye of beings, Seeing all the worlds without eyes, You today liberate beings, including gods and humans. Sage, how can we quickly become Buddhas? Blessed One, worshipped by gods and men, speaking the ultimate truth, We unanimously abandon the contempt for women, Quickly coming to the miraculous presence of the supreme mind, Having come here, we listen to the teachings of the Sage. Blessed One, who speaks of selflessness and sees the ultimate truth, Proclaiming the precious, stainless treasure of the limbs of enlightenment, Incomparable one, who has subdued the power of Mara, please Now quickly grant us together the prediction of enlightenment. Then, those daughters of Mara rose from their seats and said in one voice to the evil Mara: Guilty mind

क्रोधཅན་ཁྱོད（具忿者你） སྙིང་པོ་མེད་གཡོ་བའི།（无有心要欺诳者） ། དཔལ་རྙེད་ཅི་ཕྱིར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་སྡང་བར་སེམས།（为何因利养心怀憎恨于世尊） ། དྲེགས་པས་གོས་ནས་སྐྱེ་བ་ལ་སོགས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱིས།（为骄慢所蔽，以生等诸苦） ། ལུས་ཀུན་གཙེས་ཏེ་མི་བཟད་གནས་སུ་ཉེ་བར་སོང་།（恼害诸身，迫近不悦意处） ། དེ་ལྟར་ཁྲོ་བ་སྤངས་ཏེ་རྒྱལ་ལ་དད་པར་གྱིས།（如是舍弃嗔怒，信奉胜者） ། འཁོར་བའི་ཉེས་པ་དྲེགས་པའི་འདམ་ལས་ཐར་བའི་བདག（从轮回过患，骄慢泥潭解脱之主） ། འདི་ནི་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་འགྲོ་བ་ཀུན་གྱི་ངོ་བོ་མཁྱེན།（此乃汝所知，一切有情之体性） ། ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཅན་གྱི་སྐྱབས་སུ་འདོང་གིས་མྱུར་དུ་བཞུད།（速往具悲者庇护之处） ། དེ་ནས་བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་ཤིན་ཏུ་གདུག་པའི་ཡིད་དང་ལྡན་པ་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ།（其后，具足极其恶毒之心的恶魔如是想：） བདག་གིས་འདི་འདྲ་བའི་བདུད་ཀྱི་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་དྲག་པོ་དྲན་པར་བྱས་ལ།（我当忆念如是的恶魔威力之猛境，） གང་གཡོག་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་པོ་འདི་དག་བདག་ཉིད་བཅིང་བ་ལྔས་བཅིངས་པར་མཐོང་བར་བྱས་ཏེ།（令此五百侍女为我所见，为五种系缚所缚，） འདི་ནས་བཟློག་ལ་འགྲོ་མི་ནུས་པར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་པ་དང་།（令其无法从此返回，） བདུད་དེས་དེ་དག་བཅིངས་པར་མ་ནུས་སོ།（恶魔未能束缚她们。） །དེ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེ་ན།（为何如此呢？） འདི་ལྟར་གཡོག་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་པོ་དེ་དག་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས་པའི་ཕྱིར་རོ།（因为这五百侍女为如来所加持之故。） །དེ་ནས་གཡོག་མོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་དེ་དག་བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་གྱི་དྲུང་ནས་དོང་བ་དང་།（其后，五百侍女从恶魔之处逃离，） དེ་ནས་བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་རབ་ཏུ་ཁྲོས་ཏེ་དེ་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ།（其后，恶魔极度愤怒，如是想：） །བདག་གིས་ཡང་འདི་འདྲ་བའི་བདུད་ཀྱི་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་དྲག་པོ་དྲན་པར་བྱས་ཏེ།（我当再次忆念如是的恶魔威力之猛境，） ཅི་ནས་བདག་གིས་གཡོག་མོ་དེ་དག་ཕྱོགས་དང་ཕྱོགས་མཚམས་ཐམས་ཅད་འཁྲུལ་ནས་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གཽ་ཏ་མ་མི་མཐོང་ཞིང་སླར་ཡང་བདག་གི་གནས་སུ་འོང་བར་ནམ་མཁའ་འདི་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་རྣམ་པར་འཐོར་རླུང་དང་།（务必令我使那些侍女迷失所有方向，不见沙门乔达摩，并再次回到我的住所，于此所有虚空中遍布散乱之风，） རླུང་ནག་པོ་ཆེན་པོས་ཀུན་ཏུ་ཁྱབ་པར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་ན་ཡང་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས་ཀྱི་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་རླུང་ཅུང་ཟད་ཀྱང་ལངས་པར་བྱེད་མ་ནུས་སོ།（纵然心想以大黑风遍布一切，然以佛陀加持力之故，未能令微风生起。） །ཐ་ན་སྐྲའི་རྩེ་མོ་གཅིག་ཙམ་ཡང་བསྐྱོད་མ་ནུས་ན་མང་དུ་ལྟ་ཅི་སྨོས།（甚至未能摇动一根发梢，何况更多呢。） དེ་ནས་ཡང་བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་རབ་ཏུ་ཁྲོས་ཤིང་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཏེ་ཡིད་མི་བདེ་ཞིང་ཡིད་ལ་གཅགས་ནས་ངུ་ཞིང་སྐད་ཆེན་ པོས་རང་གི་བུ་དང་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལ་བོས་ཏེ་བདུད་ཀྱི་གནས་ཐམས་ཅད་སྒྲས་གང་བར་བྱས་སོ།（其后，恶魔再次极度愤怒、痛苦，心怀不悦，内心焦躁，哭泣并大声呼唤自己的儿子和眷属，使所有恶魔之境充满声音。） །སྡུག་པའི་བུ་དང་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་རྣམས་ཚུར་ཤོག་ཤིག།（可爱的儿子和眷属们，都到这里来！） ང་ནི་བདག་ཡུལ་རང་གི་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་སྟོབས་ལས་ཉམས།（我已从自己的神通威力中衰退。） ཤཱཀྱའི་བུ་འདི་སྒྱུ་ལྡན་གཡོ་ཅན་ངག་འཇམ་ལ།（这个释迦之子，是具幻术、狡诈、言语柔和者，） ཁོང་ནས་རང་བཞིན་དུག་སྡོང་འདྲ་བ་འདིར་སྐྱེས་སོ།（从其内部生出如同毒树般的本性。） །དེ་ནས་སྒྲ་དེས་བདུད་ཀྱི་གཡོག་མོ་དང་།（其后，因那声音，恶魔的侍女们，） བདུད་ཀྱི་བུ་མོ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་།（所有那些恶魔的女儿们，） བདུད་ཀྱི་བུ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་རིངས་པའི་གཟུགས་ཀྱིས་མྱུར་དུ་ལྷགས་ནས།（以及所有恶魔之子眷属们，都以惊慌之态迅速赶来，） བདུད་སྡིག（恶魔……）

O Wrathful One, you deceitful being without essence! Why do you harbor hatred towards the Blessed One for the sake of gain and honor? Covered by pride, tormented by sufferings such as birth, your entire body is afflicted, drawing near to an undesirable state. Therefore, abandon anger and have faith in the Victorious One. He is the master who liberates from the faults of samsara, from the mire of pride. He knows the nature of all beings. Hasten, quickly go to the refuge of the compassionate one. Then, the wicked demon, possessing an extremely malevolent mind, thought to himself: 'I shall recall the fierce realm of the demon's power, and cause these five hundred maidens to be bound by the five bonds, so that they cannot turn back from here.' But the demon could not bind them. Why is that? It is because these five hundred maidens were blessed by the Thus-Gone-One. Then, the five hundred maidens fled from the presence of the wicked demon. Then, the wicked demon became exceedingly angry and thought to himself: 'I shall again recall the fierce realm of the demon's power, and somehow cause these maidens to become confused in all directions, unable to see the ascetic Gautama, and return to my abode. I shall scatter winds in all these skies, and cause a great black wind to pervade everywhere.' But even so, by the power of the Buddha's blessing, he could not cause even a slight wind to arise. He could not even move a single tip of a hair, let alone more. Then again, the wicked demon became exceedingly angry and distressed, his mind uneasy and agitated, weeping and calling out in a loud voice to his sons and assembly, filling all the demon's realms with sound. 'Beloved sons and assembly, come here! I have declined from my own magical power. This son of the Shakya is deceptive, cunning, and sweet-talking, but from within, he is like a poisonous tree that has sprung up here.' Then, by that sound, all the demon's maidens, all the demon's daughters, and all the demon's sons, together with their assembly, quickly arrived in a state of agitation. The wicked demon...
