For the sake of taming, for the sake of pacifying, and for the sake of completely liberating from suffering, and likewise from other demons, to tame between humans and non-humans, to pacify, to completely pacify all suffering, and to teach the illusion of that which has no coming and going, and is nothing at all, and to dry up all the water of death and transmigration in all beings, and for the sake of completely liberating from the realm of nirvana without the remainder of the aggregates. From the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-arhats, and the immeasurable number of Bodhisattvas, gathered beings such as humans and non-humans. Sinful one, now generate the mind of unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment! In this way, you will be liberated from this unbearable suffering of headache, and ultimately you will realize the Dharma of the Buddha, which is like the nature of space. You will also obtain the Buddha-lands that are far superior to the realm of demons. Then, sixty-eight thousand demons, and countless immeasurable retinues of demons, from the hateful yakshas to the hateful ones with decaying bodies, all prayed in one voice, saying: If we also generate the mind of unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, then how shall we realize those Buddha-dharmas that are like the nature of space? And how shall we obtain this Buddha-land that is far superior to all? Then, the sinful demon spoke these words: Even if I have a headache until the end of the future, I will not generate the mind of enlightenment with such deceit. Then, Great Brahma with a melodious voice spoke these words: I am also willing to receive all the Dharma that is taught in this Buddha-land, in the presence of all the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-arhats. In villages, cities, towns, and countries, wherever there are sons and daughters of good families, I will protect them, completely guard them, turn them away from harm, and lead them to benefit and virtue. Those who even write and hold this Dharma teaching of the dhāraṇī that cannot be overcome by the assembly of demons, and wherever there is a Dharma speaker on the lion throne, who wishes to explain this Dharma teaching correctly, they should first recite these secret mantras there. These secret mantras will summon me, and I, together with my retinue, will go to that place, protecting and concealing those Dharma speakers and Dharma listeners. For example: Ava me, ava me, ama vare, ama vare, pari kunja, nāḍa nāḍa puṣkara mahā, jalu kha, ma kha ya, ili mili, kili mili, kīrti tsara mudre, mudra mukhe svāhā. Bhagavan, wherever those Dharma speakers first remember these secret mantras, and if I, having heard with my perfectly pure divine ear faculty, do not go there, then I will have deceived the Tathāgatas of the past, future, and present, and I will also not awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. May all evil paths, bad omens, hatred, rudeness, anger, tastelessness, hail, heat, foul smells, and all those poisons that are unpleasant to touch be eliminated. May the harms of heat and famine be eliminated there. May all fears of elephants, lions, tigers, buffaloes, wolves, venomous snakes, thieves, deceivers, humans and non-humans be eliminated. There, for the enjoyment of all sentient beings and for universal use, may wealth, grain, medicine, flowers, fruits, tastes, food, drink, clothing, and various bedding be readily available. In whatever place this Dharma category is held, or grasped, or recited, or fully understood, or taught, there may we individually eliminate all harm to sentient beings. For the enjoyment of sentient beings and for universal use, may all benefits, happiness, and contentment be accomplished. May those sentient beings also be inclined to desire the Dharma and practice virtue, this is the aspiration I have made before all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. May all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have compassion on me. In order to bring this person's power into decline, may the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, grant me the accomplishment of actions that fulfill all wishes as desired. Then, at that time, immediately, Shakyamuni and others, all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, looked with compassion upon the one with the voice of Brahma and spoke these words: "For what reason does the one with the voice of Brahma summon all the hundred thousands, Brahma, and all the world protectors, and also the gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, and asuras who greatly rejoice in the Dharma of the Buddha, and will perform such a great power of man? We shall bestow these secret mantra words upon this one with the voice of Brahma." Then all those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, spoke these words: "May the one with the voice of Brahma be accomplished! Like this."
