From which direction, the Tathagata named Vairochana came and resided in the heart of the lotus. From the upper direction, the Tathagata named Light of Wisdom came. Bodhisattvas, Mahasattvas, hundreds of thousands of billions, countless and inconceivable, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, as many as the atoms of the Buddha-fields, simultaneously, with the blessings of transformation of all Buddha-lands, departed from there. 摧伏及，为积聚善行故，为彼义故皆往诣，心极信乐而谛听，摧伏魔众极猛利，寂静法性善谛听，当成圆满正等觉。大乘行道忍辱分，当知解了而修习，为尽一切诸烦恼，是故今当听此陀罗尼。于诸座上安住已，为说此护故祈请，是故一切同一口，迎请引导诸众生。为令正法久住故，息灭一切诸障蔽，摄集一切诸法故，此陀罗尼非他能胜。其后诸菩萨摩诃萨得忍辱者无量无数，如是等众同声白言：诸佛薄伽梵，愿哀愍我等，今于此莲华座上就座，具大悲者以大慈之胜及忍辱而普熏修，说无畏之因，集诸法，入于无畏，作度脱一切魔境，摧伏魔之幢幡而建立法幢，摧灭一切烦恼，摧伏一切怨敌，断除一切犹豫，引入一切智智，作解脱一切怖畏，守护一切怨敌无有能胜，开示一切菩提萨埵之忆念一切法，及慧及证及信不忘失，一切行之方便及智，一切圆满安乐之生处及加持及三摩地及陀罗尼及入忍辱，入于明智巧慧乃至执持菩提分法三十七品之精藏，此陀罗尼能令有情众生之威光及容色及受用及力及名称及安乐而安住及勇猛及忆念增盛及受持不忘失及摧伏一切怨敌及令苗稼增长及执持学处。

And to subdue, and for the sake of accumulating virtuous deeds, for that purpose all go forth. With a mind of great faith, listen attentively. Subduing the hosts of demons with great ferocity, listen well to the peaceful nature of Dharma, and become a fully enlightened Buddha. The path of Mahayana practice, understand and cultivate the division of patience. To exhaust all afflictions, therefore, listen to this dharani today. Having sat upon the seats, for the sake of explaining this protection, we request. Therefore, with one voice, invite all the leaders to come forth. For the sake of the long duration of the sacred Dharma, pacifying all obscurations, gathering all the Dharmas, this dharani cannot be overcome by others. Then, bodhisattvas, great beings who have attained patience, countless and immeasurable, with one voice requested thus: "O Buddhas, Bhagavan, have compassion on us, and now sit upon these lotus seats. Those who possess great compassion, with the excellence of great love and patience, universally cultivate, explain the cause of fearlessness, gather all Dharmas, enter into fearlessness, accomplish the liberation from all realms of demons, subdue the banners of demons and erect the banners of Dharma, destroy all afflictions, subdue all enemies, cut off all doubts, lead into all-knowing wisdom, accomplish liberation from all fears, protect all enemies without any being able to overcome, reveal the remembrance of all Dharmas of all bodhisattvas, and wisdom, and realization, and faith without forgetting, the means and wisdom of all actions, the source of all perfect bliss, and blessings, and samadhi, and dharani, and entering into patience, entering into the skillful wisdom of luminosity, up to holding the essence of the thirty-seven wings of enlightenment. This dharani enables sentient beings to abide in glory, complexion, enjoyment, strength, fame, and happiness, and to increase courage and memory, and to uphold without forgetting, and to subdue all enemies, and to cause crops to grow, and to uphold the precepts."
