Who can surpass me today? I have subdued the assembled forces of demons. I have defeated countless multitudes of demons. You all shall surely attain liberation. Why not enter the city, do not fear! For the sake of sentient beings, in these ten directions, all the Buddhas who dwell, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, have gathered great miraculous powers. May all realms be completely filled, may they abide with merit and wisdom. May all those Buddhas with their conduct abide, may they accomplish the intentions of the Buddhas. Then, gods, nagas, yakshas, rakshasas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, and humans and non-humans, hundreds of thousands of billions of countless immeasurable beings, praised the Bhagavan, saying, "Well done!" and spoke these words: Homage to the one who possesses rare and wonderful immeasurable diligence! Homage, homage to the Buddha Bhagavan, the rare, great, wonderful, immeasurable diligent one! The Bhagavan has rescued the world, including the gods. The Bhagavan has defeated the forces of Mara. He has cleared away the defilements of afflictions that bind sentient beings. He has toppled the Mount Meru of sentient beings' pride. He has cut down the tree of birth. He has destroyed the sun of the Lord of Death. He has dispelled the darkness of ignorance. He has converted other heretics to complete faith. He has dried up the four rivers. He has caused the lamp of Dharma to blaze forth. He has shown the path to enlightenment. He has placed them in patience and joy. He has bestowed the peak of the bliss of meditation. He has caused them to comprehend the four noble truths. The teacher, the Bhagavan, with great compassion, has delivered the world, including the gods, from the ocean of birth.
