Then, Maudgalyāyana's son entered the great city of Rājagṛha from the eastern gate of the city for alms, and then again the fifty young demons, from the song until (the end), said these words: The elements themselves are extremely disgusting! The elements themselves have deceived us! The elements themselves are killers! I will drive out the elements themselves. Feelings are extremely disgusting! Feelings have deceived us! Feelings are killers! I will drive out feelings. Consciousness is extremely disgusting! Consciousness has deceived us! Consciousness is killers! I will drive out consciousness. Conceptualization is extremely disgusting! Conceptualization has deceived us! Conceptualization is killers! I will drive out conceptualization. Saṃsāra is extremely disgusting! Saṃsāra has deceived us! Saṃsāra is killers! I will drive out saṃsāra. Like this: Āma va, āma va, āma va, āra ja, nara ja ha śa ma mya tha, śa ma mya tha ga ga na va svāhā! I will drive all existence to the end. The joy of desire is enough! The joy of desire has deceived us! The joy of desire is killing! I will drive the joy of desire to the end. Friends, this life passes quickly, like a rapid stream on a steep mountain. Children do not understand, the ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of form. Similarly, the ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of sound. The ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of smell. The ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of taste. The ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of touch. Friends, this life passes quickly, like a rapid stream on a steep mountain. Children do not understand, the ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of Dharma. The ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of aggregates. The ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of elements. The ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of enjoyment. The ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of happiness. The ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of lineage. The ignorant are intoxicated by the pride of desire. Friends, this life passes quickly, like a rapid stream on a steep mountain.
