That is perfect complete enlightenment. Bodhisattva Inexhaustible Intelligence asked: What is it that, with the three circles completely purified, is thoroughly practiced in a way that does not cling to the perfections, and is without attachment or aversion, that is perfect complete enlightenment? Bodhisattva Manjushri, become a youth, asked: Blessed One, what is it that does not cling to or become weary of all dharmas, and also thoroughly understands the nature of profound dharmas, but does not take or abandon what is thoroughly understood? It does not accumulate, it does not separate, and it does not increase, decrease, recognize, liberate, destroy, diminish, or increase any dharma. And because it does not discriminate about things, it does not become defiled by afflictions. This is perfect complete enlightenment. By this single principle, one attains perfect complete enlightenment of all-knowing wisdom. Then the Bodhisattva Spectator said: Manjushri, if this profound way of entering Suchness, this way of meditating on emptiness, enables one to attain perfect complete enlightenment of all-knowing wisdom, what need is there for constant effort and diligence? Manjushri said: There is no clinging to being free from unpleasant views and clinging to right views, and there is no clinging to being without deceit and clinging to honesty. There is no clinging to being free from sin and serving the guru, and there is no clinging to being happy with the teachings. There is no clinging to right livelihood, and there is no clinging to being free from all efforts. There is no clinging to anger and compassion towards all sentient beings, and there is no clinging to the three teachers. There is no clinging to the virtuous dharma that does not deceive, and there is no clinging to non-pacification. There is no clinging to protecting the sacred dharma, and there is no clinging to not abandoning all sentient beings. There is no clinging to abandoning all things, and there is no clinging to greatly increasing the strength of weak sentient beings. There is no clinging to the fearless refuge of fear, and there is no clinging to diligently placing those who have entered the wrong path.

And there is no imposition of designations, no imposition of patience and its designations, no imposition of attachment to the nature of all grasping, no imposition of abandoning all aggregates of dust and darkness, and no imposition of abandoning all ripening fruits of dedication. These are the twenty unions of the omniscient wisdom of the sons of the lineage. By engaging in the knowledge of the suchness of all divisions of letters, languages, sounds, speech, and expressions, it is the union of omniscient wisdom. Furthermore, by engaging in the suchness of the words of non-Buddhists, by engaging in the suchness of all behaviors, by engaging in the suchness of the union of all merits and the perfection of wisdom, by engaging in the suchness of all taking, birth, and destruction, by engaging in the three liberations, and by engaging in the suchness of all places, causes, actions, and dharmas, one will know all the teachings of the Tathagata and comprehend the union of omniscient wisdom. The bodhisattva Spectator said: Manjushri, it is indeed so. When one realizes this profound Dharma, one does not see the Dharma that is taught, nor to whom it is taught, nor by what meaning, words, and letters it is taught, nor the Dharma that is taught. All the dharmas that are abandoned, meditated upon, and fully understood are engaged in suchness in an inexpressible manner, and thus one will comprehend the omniscient wisdom. The Blessed One said: Well said, well said! Son of the lineage, you have spoken well about obtaining omniscient wisdom through one method. Why is that? Because all things are without attachment, therefore all dharmas are without imposition, with the limit of unborn and undestroyed, and with the true limit of non-arising of ignorance and nirvana, and with the true limit of non-arising of space and nirvana, and all dharmas are with the limit of inexpressibility, and all sentient beings are also like that.

All dharmas are the limit of non-substantiality, the three times, the three realms, and all aggregates are the limit of nothingness, the three formations are the limit of emptiness, the aggregate of dharma, the aggregate of ripening, and so on, and the aggregate of writing are completely declared to be the limit of non-substantiality. The Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses emptiness, the limit of truth, the meaning of unspeakable, and all the dharmas of the meaning of all dharmas enters the omniscient wisdom. When this prophecy of attaining omniscient wisdom was spoken, two hundred thousand of the daughters of Mara and the retinue of the sons of Mara attained the forbearance of non-arising dharma, abandoned their gross bodies, and obtained mind-made bodies. Furthermore, two hundred and eighty thousand attained the forbearance of non-arising dharma. Ninety-two kotis of gods and humans attained the forbearance of the Bodhisattva, samadhi, and various dharanis. Then, those two hundred thousand Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who had attained the forbearance of non-arising dharma scattered heavenly flowers upon the Bhagavan, and after scattering them exceedingly, they bowed to the feet of the Bhagavan with their heads and spoke thus: Bhagavan, please look upon how sentient beings, due to associating with unwholesome friends, do not remember all the roots of virtue such as merit. The Bhagavan said: This should be regarded as a karmic cause. Then, the Bhagavan, in order to dispel the doubts of the sentient beings who were amazed, spoke this past event. Son of good family, in the past, in a time long ago, immeasurable and countless great kalpas ago, at that time, in that era, in this four-continent world, there was a great kalpa called Manifestation Holder, and the lifespan of beings was able to reach sixty-eight thousand years. At that time, in that era, the Tathagata Light Tranquil Fragrance Manifestation Glory, endowed with knowledge and conduct, Sugata, Knower of the World, unsurpassed tamer of beings, Teacher of gods and humans, the Buddha Bhagavan appeared.
