ས་པའི་ལྷ། །དེས་ནི་རྣམ་འདྲེན་མ་མཐོང་ན། །སླན་ཆད་ཇི་ལྟར་གནས་པར་འགྱུར། །ཀྱེ་མའོ་འདུ་བྱེད་མི་རྟག་སྟེ། །སྒྱུ་མ་རྨི་ལམ་ལྟ་བུ་ལགས། །འདི་འདྲའི་སྟོན་པ་དཔའ་བོ་ཡང་། །འདི་ཉིད་དུ་ནི་འདའ་བར་འགྱུར། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མ་འགགས་པས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ལ་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་དེ་སྨྲས་པ། འདུས་བྱས་ཐམས་ཅད་མི་རྟག་ཅེས། །སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱིས་ནི་སྔོན་ཡང་གསུངས། །གང་ལ་རང་དབང་ཡོད་མིན་པ། །དེ་ལ་སྨྲེ་སྔགས་བཏོན་མི་ཕན། །སྨྲེ་སྔགས་ཡང་དང་ཡང་བཏོན་ཅིང་། །ངུད་མོས་བཏབ་པ་ཙམ་གྱིས་ནི། །དོན་འདི་ཐོབ་པར་མི་སླ་ཡིས། །མཁས་པ་མྱ་ངན་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག །དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མ་འགགས་པ་ལ་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་དེ་སྨྲས་པ། མི་མཆོག་མྱ་ངན་འདའ་འགྱུར་བ། །ཁྱོད་ལའང་མྱ་ངན་ཡོད་ཡིན་ན། །མ་འགགས་འཇིགས་པ་མེད་པར་ནི། །ཅི་ཡི་ཕྱིར་ན་དེ་སྐད་སྨྲ། །མ་འགགས་པས་སྨྲས་པ། སེམས་ཅན་ཉམ་ཐག་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཞིང་། །མྱ་ངན་གདུངས་པ་མཐོང་ནས་ནི། །བདག་གི་མིག་ཀྱང་ཆུས་གང་ཞིང་། །མཆི་མ་འཁྲུག་ཅེས་བྱེད་པའང་ཡོད། །སེམས་ཅན་ཇི་སྙེད་ངུ་བ་རྣམས། །ལྷ་ཡི་མིག་གིས་མཐོང་བ་ན། །བདག་ཀྱང་དེ་དག་དོན་ གྱི་ཕྱིར། །ཤིན་ཏུ་ངུ་ཡང་བྲོ་མོད་ཀྱི། །འོན་ཀྱང་སྨྲེ་སྔགས་བཏོན་པས་ནི། །ཕན་པ་འགའ་ཡང་མི་རྙེད་པས། །དེ་ཕྱིར་ཁྱོད་ལ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ། །ཆོས་སོམས་མྱ་ངན་མ་བྱེད་ཟེར། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་གདན་ལས་བཞེངས་ཏེ་ལྷ་དང་། མི་དང་། ཀླུ་དང་། གནོད་སྦྱིན་དང་། དྲི་ཟ་དང་། མིའམ་ཅི་དང་། ལྟོ་འཕྱེ་ཆེན་པོ་དང་། ལྷ་མ་ཡིན་དང་། ནམ་མཁའ་ལྡིང་བྱེ་བ་འབུམ་ཕྲག་དུ་མས་ཡོངས་སུ་བསྐོར་ཅིང་མདུན་དུ་བདར་ནས། ཤིང་སཱ་ལ་ཟུང་གི་བར་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་གཤེགས་ཏེ་བྱོན་ནས་སེང་གེའི་གཟིམས་ཁྲི་ལ་སྐུའི་གློ་གཡས་པ་ཕབ་སྟེ་གཟིམས་སོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་སེང་གེའི་གཟིམས་ཁྲི་ལ་གཟིམས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བར་སྣང་ལས་ལྷའི་མེ་ཏོག་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་ཆར་དག་མངོན་པར་རབ་ཏུ་ཕབ་ཅིང་། ལྷའི་ཕྱེ་མ་མང་པོ་དག་གིས་ཀྱང་གཏོར། ལྷའི་སིལ་སྙན་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་དག་ཀྱང་རབ་ཏུ་གསིལ་ཏོ། །མི་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་ལ་བལྟ་བའི་ཐ་མར་གྱུར་པ་ནི་འདི་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་མི་ཡུལ་གྱི་མེ་ཏོག་དང་། ཕྱེ་མ་དང་། སྤོས་དང་། བྱུག་པ་དང་། རོལ་མོའི་སྒྲ་དག་གིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་མཆོད་པ་བྱས་སོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཤིང་སཱ་ལ་ཟུང་གི་བར་དུ་སེང་གེའི་གཟིམས་ཁྲི་ལ་སྐུ

地神啊！他若未见引导者，此后将如何安住呢？唉呀！有为法皆是无常，如幻如梦一般啊！如此导师英雄，也将于此处入灭。此后，具寿摩诃迦叶对具寿阿难以偈颂说道：诸行皆无常，佛陀昔已说。于彼无自主，哀号亦无益。哀号再三发，涕泪悲泣之，此事不易得，智者莫悲伤。如是说已，具寿阿难对具寿摩诃迦叶以偈颂说道：人中胜士将入灭，汝亦有悲伤耶？摩诃迦叶无畏惧，为何如是说此语？摩诃迦叶说道：见诸有情遭困苦，悲伤煎熬诸痛苦，我眼亦为泪水盈，亦有泪水潸然落。见诸有情尽皆哭，天眼所见彼等时，我亦为彼等义故，极度哭泣亦适宜。然以哀号悲泣之，亦无丝毫利益得，是故迦叶汝当知，思惟正法莫悲伤。此后，世尊从座起身，天、人、龙、夜叉、乾闼婆、非人、大腹行、阿修罗、金翅鸟等百千万亿眷属围绕侍奉，前往双娑罗树林间，于狮子卧榻之上，右胁而卧。世尊卧于狮子卧榻之上时，诸天众从虚空中降下种种天花之雨，并散布众多天界的香粉，同时响起百千天乐之音。众人亦以人间之花、香粉、香、涂香及音乐之声，供养世尊，并视此为最后一次瞻仰如来。世尊于双娑罗树林间，狮子卧榻之上。

O earth deity! If he has not seen the guide, how will he abide hereafter? Alas! All conditioned things are impermanent, like illusions and dreams! Even such a heroic teacher will pass away here. Then, the venerable Mahakashyapa spoke in verse to the venerable Ananda: All conditioned things are impermanent, the Buddha has said before. In that which has no self-control, lamenting is of no benefit. Lamenting again and again, and weeping with tears, it is not easy to obtain this matter, the wise should not grieve. Having said this, the venerable Ananda spoke in verse to the venerable Mahakashyapa: The supreme among men will pass into sorrow, do you also have sorrow? Mahakashyapa is fearless, why do you speak such words? Mahakashyapa said: Seeing sentient beings suffering and tormented by sorrow, my eyes are also filled with tears, and tears also fall. Seeing all sentient beings weeping, when seen by the divine eye, I also for the sake of those, it is fitting to weep greatly. However, by lamenting and weeping, no benefit is obtained, therefore, Kashyapa, you should know, contemplate the Dharma and do not grieve. Then, the Blessed One arose from his seat, and surrounded and attended by hundreds of thousands of billions of deities, humans, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, non-humans, mahoragas, asuras, and garudas, he went to the grove between the twin sala trees, and lay down on the lion's throne, resting on his right side. As soon as the Blessed One lay down on the lion's throne, the gods rained down various kinds of divine flowers from the sky, and scattered many divine powders, and at the same time, hundreds of thousands of divine musical instruments sounded. The people also offered flowers, powders, incense, perfumes, and musical sounds of the human realm to the Blessed One, considering this to be the last time to behold the Tathagata. The Blessed One was in the grove between the twin sala trees, on the lion's throne.
