All dharmas are perfectly enlightened as emptiness. If a Bodhisattva clings to some view, even clinging to the Dharma of the Buddha and the view of Nirvana, that is deceiving the Tathagatas. Son of the gods, the Tathagata has perfectly enlightened all dharmas as truly signless. If a Bodhisattva makes some dharma a sign, or associates with signs, that is deceiving the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. The Tathagata has perfectly enlightened all dharmas as truly wishless. The Tathagata has perfectly enlightened all dharmas as unconditioned, non-existent, unborn, unproduced, unmanifested, signless, characterless, future, past, non-abiding, naturally pure, naturally luminous, naturally completely extinguished, and all dharmas are like the sky. If a Bodhisattva focuses on some dharma or the nature of dharma, that is deceiving the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the perfectly enlightened Buddhas. Son of the gods, if a Bodhisattva knows that all views truly converge into emptiness, all views truly converge into signlessness, all views truly converge into wishlessness, all views truly transcend the three realms, and knows that all dharmas are unconditioned, non-existent, unborn, unproduced, unmanifested, signless, characterless, future, past, non-abiding, naturally pure, naturally luminous, naturally completely extinguished, all dharmas are like the sky, and naturally free from all defilements, then the Bodhisattva will not deceive the Buddha, the Bhagavat. Then the Bhagavat gave praise to Manjushri, the youth, saying, "Well done, Manjushri!"

Excellent, excellent! Your words are well spoken. A Bodhisattva who practices in this way is practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and will quickly receive a prophecy. Manjushri, I know that before the Tathagata Dipamkara, there was no pure conduct that I did not practice. However, I did not receive a prophecy. Why is that? It is because I practiced with signs, with effort, and with attachment. When I saw the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Dipamkara, I completely transcended all practices. As soon as I saw him, I attained the vision of the conduct of that Bhagavan, and I also realized that all dharmas are inherently unborn. Then, in the beginning of the future, you will become the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni, so prophesied the Bhagavan, the Tathagata Dipamkara. At that very moment, I also obtained forbearance towards the unborn dharmas. Manjushri, therefore, those Bodhisattvas, great beings, who wish to quickly obtain forbearance towards the unborn dharmas, should focus on this chapter on conduct, have faith in the dharma of non-objectification and non-effort, and should engage in liberation. Then, the youthful Manjushri asked the Bhagavan, "Bhagavan, for the sake of attaining what is forbearance obtained?" The Bhagavan replied, "Manjushri, forbearance is obtained for the sake of obtaining the skandhas, the dhatus, and the ayatanas. Moreover, forbearance is obtained for the sake of obtaining all dharmas. Manjushri, the so-called obtaining of forbearance is the obtaining of the inexhaustible nature of dharma. Manjushri, the so-called obtaining of forbearance is the supreme word of reality itself. Manjushri, one who has obtained forbearance does not engage in the dharmas of the world. Nor does one engage in the dharmas of ordinary beings, the dharmas of learners, the dharmas of non-learners, the dharmas of solitary Buddhas, the dharmas of Bodhisattvas, and the dharmas of Buddhas.

There is no practice. Since all dharmas are not universally practiced, therefore it is called obtaining forbearance. This forbearance is not momentary from the characteristics of all dharmas and the gateways of objects, therefore it is called forbearance. In this forbearance, there is nothing that can be enumerated as eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. There is also no mind to be arrogant. There is also no exhaustion, in this forbearance there is no exhaustion. In this forbearance there is also no object. In this forbearance there is also no separation from the object, therefore it is called forbearance. When explaining the teachings of this forbearance, five hundred Bodhisattvas obtained the forbearance of non-arising dharmas, and they said: We have done the work of making this samadhi that gathers all merits abide. We have also perfected all the incomparable dharmas. World Honored One, Bodhisattvas should respectfully listen to all the profound places. They should practice. They said this. Then, the Bodhisattva Thirstless Son said to Manjushri Kumara: Manjushri, how do Bodhisattva Mahasattvas cultivate these profound dharmas? Manjushri said: Thirstless Son, when Bodhisattvas know that all dharmas have not been done and have not been changed, Thirstless Son, by this alone, Bodhisattvas have already cultivated. When they know that all dharmas have not been manifestly gathered, there is no regret for what has been done, and there is no ignorance for what has not been done, then the Bodhisattvas have already cultivated. For actions, they also strive, and for what has been done, they do not think of what has been done, but rather think of what should be done, and whether they are respected or not respected, they will not feel happy or sad because of this, the actor and the receiver are also unattainable, and they have also cultivated, and they also give alms, and they also completely dedicate it to Bodhi, and they have also cultivated, alms, Bodhi, self and others are also unattainable, and they have also cultivated, and they also keep the precepts, forbearance
