The son of Non-Attachment spoke thus to the greatly glorious Immaculate Glory: "Son of lineage, what Dharma have you cultivated, that you have attained patience?" Immaculate Glory said: "I have cultivated all the Dharmas of ordinary beings." The son of Non-Attachment said: "How did you cultivate them?" Immaculate Glory said: "I cultivated them as without arising and without ceasing. I cultivated them as without attachment and without birth." The son of Non-Attachment said: "Son of lineage, what is the difference between the Dharmas of ordinary beings and the Dharmas of the Buddhas? What is the distinction?" Immaculate Glory said: "There is a distinction in name, but there is no distinction in meaning." The son of Non-Attachment said: "Immaculate Glory, what is the meaning of the Dharmas of ordinary beings?" Immaculate Glory said: "Its meaning is complete imputation from non-existence, and without conceptualization." The son of Non-Attachment said: "Immaculate Glory, what does it eliminate in meaning? And what does it accomplish?" Immaculate Glory said: "Son of Non-Attachment, in meaning, it eliminates the Dharmas of ordinary beings, and it accomplishes the Dharmas of the Buddhas." The son of Non-Attachment said: "Immaculate Glory, what is the meaning of the Dharmas of the Buddhas?" Immaculate Glory said: "Son of Non-Attachment, the meaning of the Dharmas of the Buddhas is non-duality." The son of Non-Attachment said: "Son of lineage, one should rely on meaning, and one should not rely on words." Thus spoke the Tathagata, and the arising of correct view has two causes and two conditions. What are the two? They are, namely, hearing the voice of another, and one's own proper attention. Thus it is said, the words are also that, and the meaning is also that. Immaculate Glory said: "Son of Non-Attachment, the Bodhisattva who relies on meaning does not diminish the words, nor does he...

That which is inconceivable is meaning, and that meaning is also an inexpressible meaning. Relying on meaning, there is neither Dharma nor meaning. Why is that? Because all Dharmas are inexpressible, without location, not dwelling in direction, not dwelling in place, but only ceasing where they dwell. The Blessed One also said that meaning is the characteristic of eternal cessation. Son of Craving-free, seeing it thus, whoever relies on meaning does not increase or decrease from any Dharma. That which does not increase or decrease is meaning. Son of Craving-free said: Son of noble family, does one who relies on meaning have the designation of relying on all Dharmas? Immaculate Glory said: Son of Craving-free, yes. Thus, all Dharmas are empty, all Dharmas are solitary. They rely on it just as all Dharmas are empty. They rely on it just as it is solitary. Son of Craving-free, thus, whoever relies on meaning relies on all Dharmas. Son of Craving-free said: Immaculate Glory, thus, all Dharmas themselves are reliance. Immaculate Glory said: Son of Craving-free, it is so. As you say, all Dharmas rely on ultimate truth. Ultimate truth is their door, and they should be sought in ultimate truth. They should be sought in such a way that neither Dharma nor non-Dharma is accomplished. Seeking non-duality is the seeking of the noble ones. That seeking is without action. That seeking is not action, nor is it creation. When there is no action and no creation, then the seeking is done. If it does not contradict meaning, then it is appropriate to seek. Then, when the great merchant Immaculate Glory explained this meaning, five hundred monks, without grasping, their minds were liberated from the outflows. Eight thousand gods, in all Dharmas, obtained the Dharma eye, free from dust and impurity, and were purified. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the Son of Craving-free, in the mind of enlightenment

Then Maspa Immaculate Glory spoke again as follows: Immaculate Glory, the Tathagata said that one should rely on the meaning and not on the words, because these sentient beings are not skilled in meaning and practice on two sides, and they are not skilled in words, so they speculate on the words and do not understand the meaning, so the Tathagata said to them that one should rely on the meaning and not on the words. By relying on the meaning, they will realize the self-nature equality of the words and be truly liberated from the words. Son of the lineage, the Tathagata said that there are two causes and two conditions for the arising of right view, because those who have not heard the Vinaya and only cling to samadhi, those who have not yet been liberated from samsara but have self-manifested pride, in order to make those with self-manifested pride engage in extensive learning, if they listen to the Dharma and practice it properly, they will also be without arrogance, the Tathagata spoke with regard to those who abide on the path. The Blessed One said: By hearing, one will know all dharmas, by hearing, one will not commit sins, by hearing, one will avoid harm, by hearing, one will attain nirvana. Bodhisattva Non-Greedy Son said: Son of the lineage, how does a bhikkhu yogi practice in accordance with the Dharma? Immaculate Glory said: If there is no attachment anywhere, and no separation is made, then this is in accordance with the Dharma. Non-Greedy Son, the so-called accordance with the Dharma is a nominal term for non-attachment. Non-Greedy Son, furthermore, when a bhikkhu does not make attachments, he does not give rise to all faults, he does not give rise to self, that is his accordance with the Dharma. When one separately thinks about the past and future limits, what to say, what should be said, to speak for the sake of complete knowledge, to speak for the sake of abandonment, to speak for the sake of realization, to speak for the sake of cultivation, all these are not obtained by the past cause, the future...
