They are: for example, one pervades all sentient beings with loving-kindness, yet does not perceive them as sentient beings; one is devoted to emptiness and impermanence in all dharmas, yet does not make them a basis; one sees all Buddhas, yet has no attachment to the fleshly eye; and one is skilled in thoroughly distinguishing the mind, yet does not fix the mind on the mind. Son of good family, if a bodhisattva mahasattva possesses these four dharmas, he will quickly obtain forbearance of the non-arising dharmas. Son of good family, furthermore, if a bodhisattva mahasattva possesses four dharmas, one will quickly obtain forbearance of the non-arising dharmas. What are the four? They are: for example, because of abandoning views, one completely gives away all possessions; in order to thoroughly pacify all afflictions, one's discipline is completely pure; because of the excellence of the Dharma, one possesses the power of patience; and in order to be liberated by solitary dharmas, one exerts effort. Son of good family, if a bodhisattva mahasattva possesses these four dharmas, he will quickly obtain forbearance of the non-arising dharmas. They are: for example, one obtains meditative concentration, yet does not rely on meditative concentration; one discriminates with wisdom, yet there is no elaboration; one is skilled in means, yet also gathers sentient beings; and in all conduct, there is no obstruction, yet one also understands the conduct. Son of good family, furthermore, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva possesses four qualities, he will also quickly obtain forbearance towards the non-arising of phenomena. What are the four? They are: directly realizing the three doors of liberation, completely knowing the three times, completely transcending the three realms, and having faith in the non-arising of the nature of all phenomena. Son of good family, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva possesses these four qualities, he will quickly obtain forbearance towards the non-arising of phenomena. When this fourth category of Dharma for practice was being taught, the great and powerful Tsanpo Che, with immaculate glory, obtained forbearance towards the non-arising of phenomena. Just by obtaining joy and supreme joy, he visibly rose into the sky as high as seven talas. This three-thousand great thousand world system also shook in six ways. Hundreds of thousands of musical instruments of gods and humans also resounded. A great rain of lotus clouds also visibly fell. This world was also pervaded by great light.
