The meaning of the seed syllable sa is to show that all dharmas have not arisen from the very beginning. The meaning of the seed syllable mchog pa is to show that all dharmas are ultimately true. The meaning of the seed syllable mchog na is to show that the names and forms of all dharmas are completely known. The meaning of the seed syllable mchog da is to show that all dharmas are subdued and pacified. The meaning of the seed syllable mchog sa is to show that all dharmas are completely transcended. The meaning of the seed syllable mchog ta is to show that all dharmas are undifferentiated in suchness. The meaning of the seed syllable mchog ka is to show that all dharmas are of the nature of exhaustion. The meaning of the seed syllable mchog ma is to show that all dharmas are completely cut off from the middle and the end. These eight excellent seed syllables will cause inexhaustible eloquence to arise. Therefore, one should strive for mindfulness and awareness in these seed syllables, these words of the Dharma gate, and these vajra words. One should strive to properly and individually examine them by always practicing without confusion. One should always seek what is virtuous and strive for desire. Son of the family, in this way, the Bhagavan Tathagata King Renowned as Immaculate answered those questions of Dharma, made that world appear and shake violently, and then disappeared together with those Bodhisattvas, and in an instant, a moment, a short time, he was in his own Buddha-field. From that Buddha-field, it was not apparent where he went or where he returned. Son of the family, after that, the great sage, the supreme one, became endowed with unwavering courage, and also became endowed with that unfailing memory, and thus obtained the complete support of the gods. Because of the complete support of the gods, he also overcame the attacks of the demons, and then went to villages, cities, towns, regions, districts, and the palaces of kings, and taught the Dharma to sentient beings, extensively explaining and fully revealing this samadhi that gathers all merits. He taught the Dharma for a full thousand years, and turned eighty-four thousand beings into Shravakas.

were brought to complete maturity. Eighty-four thousand living beings were brought to complete maturity in the state of solitary buddhas. Eighty-four thousand living beings were brought to complete maturity in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Eighty-four thousand living beings were brought to complete maturity in the state of wheel-turning monarchs. Eighty-four thousand living beings were brought to complete maturity in the state of Indra. Eighty-four thousand living beings were brought to complete maturity in the state of Brahma. Eighty-four thousand living beings were placed in the practice of loving-kindness. Eighty-four thousand living beings were placed in the practice of compassion. Eighty-four thousand living beings were placed in the practice of joy. Eighty-four thousand living beings were placed in the practice of equanimity. Countless living beings were brought to approach the world of higher realms. Thereafter, that great sage passed away and, together with eighty-four thousand sons of gods, was born in the buddha-field of the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, known as King Immaculate Fame, in a world-realm that was entirely immaculate. Son of good family, do you doubt or have misgivings that the great sage at that time was someone else? Son of good family, you should not see it that way. Why is that? Because I myself was the great sage at that time. Through the blessing of the truth that I desired the Dharma and abided in reverence for the Dharma, I invited the Blessed One, the Tathagata King Immaculate Fame, from the direction below. Through those various displays of immaculate splendor, you should understand that for bodhisattvas, great beings who desire the Dharma, the Tathagata will never pass into nirvana, and the sacred Dharma will never decline. Why is that? Because immaculate splendor, bodhisattvas, great beings who desire the Dharma, those who possess complete intention and reverence, even though they may dwell in other world-realms, the buddhas, the blessed ones, will show their faces and they will hear the Dharma.
