Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Good Guardian addressed the Bhagavan thus: Venerable Bhagavan, therefore, please explain that samadhi by the Tathagata, which is beneficial to many beings, brings happiness to many beings, has compassion for the world, benefits many ordinary people, as well as gods and humans, and brings benefit and happiness, and also becomes a great manifestation for future Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Then, the Bhagavan said to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Good Guardian: Good Guardian, therefore, listen well and keep it in mind, and I will explain it to you. Bhagavan, it is so. After saying this, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Good Guardian, as well as the world with gods, humans, asuras, gandharvas, etc., listened to the Bhagavan's teachings, and the Bhagavan said to him: Good Guardian, for one dharma, one should always rely on it, definitely rely on it and practice it, repeatedly practice it, make it the path, make it the foundation, truly arise, purify it well, completely purify it, abide in complete equality, and truly cultivate it, then all qualities will be particularly excellent. What is the one dharma? It is this, the samadhi called the present Buddha dwelling manifestly, the dharmas preceded by much learning will be completely perfected.
