One will be able to attain unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment without difficulty. Then, at that time, the Bhagavan spoke these verses: Having seen the Buddha Dipamkara, I also meditated on samadhi. Having seen many Buddhas, I also obtained the supreme Dharma. Just as the virtuous deeds that have been done, the good intentions are fulfilled. You should also practice the Dharma, and you will attain the supreme enlightenment. Inconceivable billions of Buddhas, without end and without limit, seeking peaceful enlightenment, those whom I previously revered. I have attained that enlightenment, and I have turned the supreme wheel of Dharma. Those who abide in enlightenment are countless billions of beings. Gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, and kimnaras, exclaim, "Amazing, countless Buddhas!" They make offerings to me with reverence. Any wise person who desires to rely on the Buddha's teachings, in order to hear much, should declare their intention. Thirty billion Buddhas, Shakya Simha, the best of men, seeking peaceful enlightenment, those whom I previously revered. Those countless Buddhas did not prophesy to me there. I did not abide in the wisdom without an object of focus. The Buddhas are the main protectors, and should be understood as such in brief. Countless billions, those whom I previously revered. Knowing my intention, the Tathagata also prophesied, but I did not abide in the wisdom of countless Buddhas. Therefore, for the sake of the true meaning, also strive to practice good diligence. Also, study the inconceivable supreme wisdom of the Buddha. Having studied this Sutra, in the realm of the protector of the world, one will be able to realize the unsurpassed supreme wisdom, inconceivable. Exclaiming, "Amazing, unsurpassed wisdom and the wisdom of countless Buddhas!" The mind of Bhadrapala rejoices, and is accompanied by reverence. In the future, we will also become Dharma holders, fulfilling the number of five hundred, those who are joyful and reverent in mind. The seventeenth chapter, the Samadhi Chapter, as requested by Bhadrapala, is complete. Volume Six. Thus it was said.

Granted, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva Good Guardian addressed the Blessed One thus: "Venerable Blessed One, how should a Bodhisattva cultivate this samadhi?" The Blessed One declared: "Good Guardian, any son or daughter of good family who wishes to cultivate this samadhi should not abide in form. They should not abide in feeling, perception, mental formations, or consciousness. They should not abide in birth. They should not abide in all phenomena. They should not abide in emptiness, signlessness, or wishlessness. They should not abide in loving-kindness. Good Guardian, what is samadhi? It is diligently engaging with those phenomena, but not engaging in a perverse manner. Furthermore, Good Guardian, any Bodhisattva who contemplates the body in the body and abides, the conceptualization associated with the body is non-conceptualization; who contemplates the dharma in feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness and abides, the conceptualization associated with the dharma is non-conceptualization, that Bodhisattva obtains this samadhi. Why is that? Good Guardian, in this way, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva contemplates the body in the body and abides, the conceptualization associated with the body is non-conceptualization; who contemplates the dharma in feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness and abides, the conceptualization associated with the dharma is non-conceptualization, then all phenomena become unobservable. Because all phenomena are unobservable, it is non-conceptualization, which is non-differentiation. Good Guardian, that which is non-conceptualization, which is non-differentiation, then no dharma is seen. Good Guardian, that in which no dharma is seen, that is to be known as unimpeded wisdom. Good Guardian, that unimpeded wisdom is called Good Guardian Samadhi. Good Guardian, any Bodhisattva who possesses this samadhi sees immeasurable, countless Buddhas. They also hear the sacred Dharma. Having heard it, they also completely understand it. They also see the unimpeded liberation wisdom of those Tathagata Arhats Perfectly Awakened Ones, and they also obtain unobstructed wisdom. Good Guardian, furthermore

Furthermore, the Bodhisattva dwells contemplating the body in the body. Having dwelt, he does not see any dharma. Not seeing, he does not think, does not discriminate thinking, is neither blind nor deaf. Similarly, he dwells contemplating feeling, mind, and dharma in dharma. Having dwelt, he does not see any dharma. Not seeing, he does not rely. Not relying, he cultivates the path. Because of cultivating the path, he does not doubt these dharmas. Because of no doubt, he will see the Buddha. Having seen the Buddha, because all dharmas are without arising, liberation arises. Why is that? Well-Guarded One, if a Bodhisattva enters into the perception of dharma, he will view that as an object of focus. He will view that as existent, view as self, view as sentient being, view as life, view as person. He will view that as aggregates, view as elements, view as sense bases, view as characteristics, view as things, view as cause, view as condition, and grasp at objects of focus. Why is that? Well-Guarded One, all dharmas are empty by nature, all dharmas are without characteristics, ungraspable, without grasping, the Bodhisattva sees them. Those all dharmas are unattainable, do not generate pride, do not see. How are they unattainable, do not generate pride, and do not see? Well-Guarded One, it is like this: for example, other non-Buddhists, or disciples of other non-Buddhists, abiding in the perception of self, abiding in the perception of sentient beings, life, and person, abiding in the perception of all dharmas, focusing on dharmas, generating pride, and seeing, in that way, Well-Guarded One, the Bodhisattva does not see. Well-Guarded One, how does the Bodhisattva see? Well-Guarded One, it is like this: for example, the Tathagata, and the Bodhisattvas who do not turn back, and the Pratyekabuddhas, and the Shravaka Arhats see all dharmas, in that way, Well-Guarded One, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva should view all dharmas. Having seen that, he should not rejoice.
