具寿阿难陀复以偈颂说：阿难陀，五百友伴之集会，以欢喜之心安住于我前，注视着这些口中念诵“愿我等获得此法”之人。彼等亦注视着我，说道：何时我等能如是？彼等安住于我前，口中念诵“我等当执持此殊胜菩提”。未来后世若如是之时，为宣说此等经部，此等八贤等五百人亦将奋起。应信乐且理解，于此处我对智慧无有贪执。此等非仅为了一位胜者，合掌而起立。忆念往昔，于前世，曾圆满八十千佛陀。为宣说此等法，彼时此等八人等亦曾起立。较彼更早之时，有持戒清净、名声广大者，出现八十俱胝千佛。亦从此等处取走广大之法。我之广大经典，亦精勤且完全执持。心怀喜悦且无比欢喜，策励众多菩提心。彼乃后世我入灭时，所有舍利皆已兴盛之后，善持此等佛陀菩提，书写文字并装入匣中之后，于佛塔、土地、岩石与山等处，以及天神与龙族之手中，放置经部，彼等为行持如天神之行仪而前往。彼等后世各自之族姓，皆已舍弃，其后降生之后，善持此等佛陀菩提，将如其所愿而行。彼等因欲求此法，于各处挖掘，将寻得此善妙经部。寻得之后，内心极度欢喜，无有依赖地施与众多众生。亦舍弃身体与性命，彼等贤者于求法不知满足。不与一切外道相合，且布施广大丰富之法。凡于我前起立

The venerable Ānanda then spoke again in verse: Ānanda, a gathering of five hundred friends, abiding before me with joyful hearts, look at these who recite, "May we obtain this Dharma." They also look at me, saying, "When shall we be like this?" They abide before me, reciting, "We shall hold this supreme Bodhi." In the future, when it is like this, in order to proclaim these Sutras, these eight sages and five hundred others will also rise up. One should have faith and understand, for here I have no attachment to wisdom. These do not stand up with palms joined only for one Victorious One. Remembering the past, in previous lives, eighty thousand Buddhas were perfected. In order to proclaim these Dharmas, at that time these eight and others also rose up. Even earlier than that, there were those with pure morality and great fame, eighty kotis of thousands of Buddhas appeared. From these also, the vast Dharma was taken. My vast scriptures are also diligently and completely held. With joy and unparalleled delight, many are encouraged in Bodhicitta. That is, in the future, when I pass into Nirvana, after all the relics have flourished, these Buddhas' Bodhi will be well held, written in letters and placed in boxes, and in stupas, lands, rocks, and mountains, as well as in the hands of gods and nagas, the Sutras will be placed, and they will go to practice like the conduct of gods. Those future generations, each of their lineages, having abandoned all, and then being born, will hold these Buddhas' Bodhi well, and will act as they wish. Those who desire this Dharma will dig in various places and find this excellent Sutra. Having found it, their hearts will be exceedingly joyful, and they will give it to many beings without dependence. They will also abandon their bodies and lives, those sages will not know satisfaction in seeking the Dharma. They will not agree with all the heretics, and they will give vast and abundant Dharma. Has become. Apart from these five hundred, no one will uphold this sutra, nor will anyone recite it. Eight monks, and also in the north, completely accepting and rejoicing in upholding the Dharma, desiring the Dharma, benefiting the world, loving, for the sake of accepting the Dharma, many will appear. Those who there extensively uphold, not relying on fame and gain, eight and so on, five hundred monks, all of these will be complete. Monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen, skilled and un-stingy, those who rise up and uphold the Dharma in the future, all of them will become kings among men. Qualities are inconceivable, endowed with all, golden in color, with the marks of a hundred blessings, for the sake of benefiting, compassionate, liberating many beings, bestowing happiness, eliminating all afflictions. They, having passed away from here, will not fall into evil realms in the future. In all lifetimes they will gather together, and will please the kings among men. They will also abandon the eight unfavorable conditions, therefore abandoning all evil destinies. Therefore, they will accumulate immeasurable merit, the extent of their qualities cannot be described. They will be pleasing in the Buddha-field, having gathered together, they will become Buddhas, for the sake of benefiting them, with compassion, seeking the supreme path of peace, and being respectful. They will gather together in one kalpa, having made offerings to the Lord of Two Feet, for the sake of the supreme, stainless Bodhi, they will obtain the stainless forbearance of the noble ones. Even those who uphold the Dharma in the future and intermediate times, practicing celibacy there, will please the Buddha of Immeasurable Life. In this Fortunate Aeon, how many lights appear that benefit the world, they also uphold the form of the Dharma, they are heroes who abide in the three times. Countless millions of Buddhas in the future, inconceivable, immeasurable Buddhas, they will also make vast offerings, and will please the Buddha's Bodhi. They will attain peaceful Bodhi, gathering there and being respectful. Millions of kalpas.
