Also, there is no doubt of two minds, and there is no fear of falling into evil. Also, there is no timidity in the Dharma. By meditating on this samadhi spoken by the Tathagata, it is as if one has also made offerings to me, and has also taken hold of vast and boundless merit. Bodhisattvas become superior through hearing. If, in the great fearful age of the future, one hears this samadhi and upholds it, it is as if one has also made offerings to me and the Buddhas of the past, as well as the Buddhas of the future. One should have faith and understanding, one should diligently strive with diligence, and one should firmly practice with joy. This samadhi is not difficult to obtain. If one can ask about this samadhi, it is as if one has also pleased a hundred victors. If, in the great fearful age of the future, one hears the samadhi and generates superior understanding, it is as if one has also seen me and these monks, and you, the householder who protects well. If one proclaims this peaceful and superior samadhi to others with joy, if one can obtain this vast samadhi, one is called a Bodhisattva who has heard much. This is commonly praised by all the Buddhas, and all hearing can also generate Buddhahood. This samadhi, which is permitted by the Tathagata and praised by the wise, if one can practice it extremely well, one can become one who has heard extremely much of the kinds of hearing that are permitted and praised by the Sugata. The seventh chapter, "Samadhi Questioned by Good Protector." Good Protector, how should that Bodhisattva Mahasattva practice this samadhi? Good Protector, just as I am now abiding before you and teaching the Dharma, so too, Good Protector, the Bodhisattva should also contemplate the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones, those Buddhas, abiding on the Buddha's seat and teaching the Dharma. He should contemplate the Tathagatas as possessing the excellence of all aspects, with beautiful forms, upright, pleasing to see, and with perfect bodies. He should contemplate the body of the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, each and every major mark of a great being being born from a hundred merits.

Should be viewed. The signs should also be taken. The invisible top of the head should also be completely inquired about. After inquiring, the signs of the great man's signs should also be taken. After taking them, one should train like this: Alala, how wonderful are those Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas! In the future, I will also have such a complete body. Such signs will be perfected. I will also have such morality. Similarly, I will have samadhi. Similarly, I will have wisdom. Similarly, I will have liberation. Similarly, I will have the wisdom vision of liberation. I will also attain the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment in the same way. After attaining perfect enlightenment, I will also teach the Dharma to the fourfold assembly and the world including the gods, so one should train. Therefore, after considering it with all kinds of excellence, one should train like this again: What is the Dharma called 'I'? What is the Dharma called 'mine'? What is enlightenment? Who is it that attains perfect enlightenment? Does the body attain perfect enlightenment? Or does the mind attain perfect enlightenment? If it is said that the body attains perfect enlightenment, then the body is an inanimate object, without movement, without action, without consciousness, like grass, trees, stones, walls, and eyeballs. And enlightenment is formless, invisible, unmanifest, and not capable of being distinguished. So, how can an inanimate, unmoving, inactive, unconscious body attain the formless, invisible, unmanifest, and indistinguishable enlightenment? If it is said that the mind attains perfect enlightenment, then the mind is formless, invisible, unmanifest, and not capable of being distinguished, like an illusion. And enlightenment is formless, invisible, unmanifest, and not capable of being distinguished. Formless
