菩萨不为魔境所染，安住于此勇猛行三摩地，以这些变化而作变化。世尊开示说：慧力坚固，正是这样，菩萨不为魔境所染，安住于此勇猛行三摩地，以这些变化而作变化。不为魔境所染，却也示现一切魔境之行。不享淫乐，却也显现二二交合。善男子，他安住于此三摩地，也示现安住于魔自身之境，却也不动摇于如来之眷属。慧力坚固，菩萨安住于此三摩地，也为众魔示现魔之境，也令佛法得以圆满成熟。尔时，菩萨慧力坚固向世尊禀白说：世尊，如来往昔为菩萨之时，安住于此勇猛行三摩地，示现了怎样的变化庄严？世尊若能略微开示您所行之事，那就太好了。如是禀白之后，世尊向菩萨慧力坚固开示说：慧力坚固，我安住于此勇猛行之 三摩地，在这三千大千世界中，有百俱胝个四大洲世界，百俱胝个太阳和月亮，百俱胝个四大天王众，百俱胝个三十三天众，百俱胝个无诤天众，百俱胝个兜率天众，百俱胝个乐变化天众，百俱胝个他化自在天众，百俱胝个魔之境，从百俱胝个梵天之境，乃至到色究竟天之间，有百俱胝个千俱胝，百俱胝个须弥山王，百俱胝个大海，以及这些三千大千世界

A Bodhisattva, undefiled by the realm of demonic activity, abides in this Samadhi of Heroic Conduct, and performs transformations with these transformations. The Bhagavan declared: Steadfast Intelligence, it is just so. A Bodhisattva, undefiled by the realm of demonic activity, abides in this Samadhi of Heroic Conduct, and performs transformations with these transformations. He is undefiled by the realm of demonic activity, yet he also demonstrates all the activities of the realm of demonic activity. He does not engage in sexual pleasure, yet he also appears as the union of two beings. Son of good family, abiding in this Samadhi, he also demonstrates dwelling in the very realm of the demon, yet he does not waver from the retinue of the Tathagata. Steadfast Intelligence, the Bodhisattva, abiding in this Samadhi, also shows the realm of the demon to the demons. He also brings the Buddhadharma to complete maturity. Then, the Bodhisattva Steadfast Intelligence addressed the Bhagavan, saying: Bhagavan, when the Tathagata was formerly a Bodhisattva, abiding in this Samadhi of Heroic Conduct, what kind of transformation and adornment did he display? Bhagavan, if you could briefly explain a portion of what you practiced, that would be excellent. After speaking thus, the Bhagavan declared to the Bodhisattva Steadfast Intelligence: Steadfast Intelligence, I, abiding in this Samadhi of Heroic Conduct, in this threefold great thousand world system, there are a hundred kotis of four-continent world systems, a hundred kotis of suns and moons, a hundred kotis of the retinues of the Four Great Kings, a hundred kotis of the Thirty-three Gods, a hundred kotis of the Gods Without Strife, a hundred kotis of the Gods of Tushita, a hundred kotis of the Gods Who Delight in Emanation, a hundred kotis of the Gods Who Control Others' Emanations, a hundred kotis of the realms of demons, from a hundred kotis of the realms of Brahma, up to the Akanishtha, there are a hundred kotis of trillions, a hundred kotis of Mount Meru, the king of mountains, a hundred kotis of great oceans, and these threefold great thousand worlds.

知道在母胎中安住。有些赡部洲知道降生。有些赡部洲知道行走七步。有些赡部洲知道观望四方，发出狮子吼声说：‘我是世间最尊贵的，我是世间最殊胜的。’有些赡部洲知道安住在妃嫔眷属中。有些赡部洲知道出家。有些赡部洲知道苦行。有些赡部洲知道进食。有些赡部洲知道取草。有些赡部洲知道前往菩提树。有些赡部洲知道安住在菩提树下。有些赡部洲知道降伏魔军。有些赡部洲知道证得菩提。有些赡部洲知道证得菩提后安住。有些赡部洲知道证得菩提后禅修。有些赡部洲知道帝释天和梵天等祈请。有些 赡部洲知道转法轮。有些赡部洲知道示现种种佛陀事业。有些赡部洲知道舍弃寿命的行蕴。有些知道完全寂灭。有些知道已经完全寂灭。有些知道火化。有些知道已经被火化。有些赡部洲知道身体凝结成一体。有些知道安放舍利。有些知道佛法将要隐没。有些知道佛法隐没。有些知道寿命无量。有些知道寿命短促。有些知道有堕入恶趣的声音。有些知道甚至没有堕入恶趣的声音。有些知道赡部洲如同天界的享受。有些知道由于众生不执着于我与我所，赡部洲如同北方的难听之声。有些知道是珍宝洲。有些知道是土地洲。有些知道是上等。有些知道是中等。有些知道是下等，这是智慧坚定、勇猛精进的禅定之殊胜群体。因此，菩萨们虽然彻底寂灭，却不会完全寂灭，乃至三千大千世界。

Knows to abide in the womb. Some Jambudvipa know of being born. Some Jambudvipa know of taking seven steps. Some Jambudvipa know of looking in the four directions and proclaiming the lion's roar, saying, 'I am the most honored in the world, I am the most supreme in the world.' Some Jambudvipa know of dwelling among the retinue of consorts. Some Jambudvipa know of renouncing the world. Some Jambudvipa know of practicing austerities. Some Jambudvipa know of eating food. Some Jambudvipa know of taking grass. Some Jambudvipa know of going to the Bodhi tree. Some Jambudvipa know of sitting at the Bodhi tree. Some Jambudvipa know of subduing the Maras. Some Jambudvipa know of attaining enlightenment. Some Jambudvipa know of attaining enlightenment and abiding. Some Jambudvipa know of attaining enlightenment and meditating. Some Jambudvipa know of Indra and Brahma and others making requests. Some Jambudvipa know of turning the wheel of Dharma. Some Jambudvipa know of performing various deeds of the Buddha. Some Jambudvipa know of abandoning the aggregates of life. Some know of completely passing into Nirvana. Some know of having completely passed into Nirvana. Some know of cremation. Some know of having been cremated. Some Jambudvipa know of the body solidifying into one. Some know of placing relics. Some know that the Dharma will decline. Some know that the Dharma has declined. Some know of immeasurable life. Some know of short life. Some know that there is the sound of being born in the lower realms. Some know that there is not even the sound of being born in the lower realms. Some know that Jambudvipa is like the enjoyment of the gods. Some know that because sentient beings do not cling to self and what belongs to self, Jambudvipa is like the unpleasant sound of the north. Some know it as a jewel island. Some know it as an earth island. Some know it as superior. Some know it as middling. Some know it as inferior, this is the supreme group of Samadhi that is steadfast in wisdom and goes forth bravely. Therefore, although Bodhisattvas completely pass into Nirvana, they do not completely pass into Nirvana, even to the great trichiliocosm.
