Not being attached to gains, respect, and praise. Being fond of the profound Dharma. Not being fond of various worldly affairs, but possessing the profound Dharma in all Dharmas. Maitreya, Bodhisattva, if possessing these five qualities, it should be known as the Dharma of non-retrogression. Maitreya, Bodhisattva, if possessing five qualities, it should be known as a wild Bodhisattva. What are the five? They are as follows: Having little majesty and an uneasy mind. Being fond of inferiority and teaching inferior Dharma to all. Being attached to gains, respect, and being stingy towards households that beg and give. Being deceitful and acting cunningly. Speaking of emptiness with the mouth, but not being upright in actions. Maitreya, Bodhisattva, if possessing these five qualities, it should be known as a wild one. Maitreya, Bodhisattva, if possessing five qualities, it should be known as the Dharma of non-retrogression. What are the five? They are as follows: Not perceiving self and not praising self. Not perceiving sentient beings. Not showing the Dharmadhatu through discrimination. Not perceiving Bodhi. Not looking at the marks of form in the body of the Tathagata. Maitreya, Bodhisattva, if possessing these five qualities, it should be known as the Dharma of non-retrogression from the Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment. Then, the Bhagavan spoke these verses at that time: Those who are jealous and desire gains, Those who harm, are deceitful and sarcastic, Those who only speak and are of inferior conduct, Cannot protect this Sugata's Bodhi. Rejoicing in the borderlands, living in solitary places, Not just in words, but enduring the profound Dharma, Like a rhinoceros, solitary, renouncing gains and comfort, Such a one protects Bodhi from being destroyed. Avoiding the assembly, delighting in perfect peace, Fearing like a wild deer, wandering without a fixed abode, Like the sky and wind, not attached to gains, Such a one is a holder of the Victor's Dharma. If one does not look at the body and does not seek life, how could one desire gains? Striving diligently, thinking nothing is mine, Such a one will be a vessel of Bodhi in the future. Sentient beings of the future age, We

They slander conduct towards enlightenment. Those with arrogant minds, pretense, and afflictions. Those cannot protect this Dharma. Before the guide Dīpaṃkara, In those eons, millions of billions, A Buddha named Candraśikhara appeared. He taught and reminded beings of this samādhi. The first gathering of that Buddha was, Eighty koṭis of non-returners. The second gathering was seventy koṭis. The third gathering was seventy-three. The Buddha's lifespan was countless billions of eons. His light was also sixty-three yojanas. The Saṅgha numbered ninety-nine koṭis. All were Arhats, possessing mastery. At that time, the king who appeared was, A Cakravartin, named Puṇyādhika. The measure of Jambudvīpa was, Equally, twenty thousand yojanas. The measure of the four continents was also the same. The king had sixty koṭis of consorts. He had a thousand sons, not a few. The king's palace was named Joyful Light. The cities numbered eighty koṭis. All resided in flourishing and beautiful gardens. All were prosperous, happy, and joyful. Like the Thirty-Three's Victorious Palace. The king dreamed of Candraśikhara. He heard that a Buddha had appeared. With sixty hundred thousand koṭis of attendants, He approached that Buddha. Having heard the profound samādhi, the Buddha's body, Having heard this Sūtra's explanation, He requested to practice as the teacher wished. He offered all his king dom to that Buddha. In all the cities, the Tathāgata, Constructed monasteries with sandalwood. He offered everything with playfulness. The walking grounds were covered with golden carpets. Even when fully eighty thousand years old, The king did nothing but make offerings. The king never generated drowsiness or sleep. He did not desire desires; kingship was not real. Because he greatly desired this samādhi. The Tathāgata, day by day, The offerings that were made, All could not be described in words. Having gone into secrecy, generating thoughts. This samādhi is supremely profound. Grasping at the mundane, wisdom
