In order to gain mastery in generating the power that is not consumed by demons, one should diligently practice this samadhi. In order for a Bodhisattva to fully possess courage, have an undeviated view, and comprehend the realization of equality, one should diligently practice this samadhi. Why is that? Because a Bodhisattva who diligently practices this samadhi will obtain all these benefits of qualities. Thus, a Bodhisattva who possesses the benefits of qualities is called a Buddha, a guide, a perfect guide, a complete guide, a teacher, an all-knowing one, a victor, a protector of the world, a self-born one, a Tathagata, one who acts according to what he says, the unequaled, the unequal, the equal, the incomparable, the supreme speaker, the truthful speaker, the veracious speaker, the timely speaker, the subduing speaker, the unsurpassed, the most excellent of men. Why is that? Manjushri, abiding in this samadhi, as soon as I saw the Blessed One, the Tathagata Dipamkara, I attained Bodhi. Manjushri asked: Blessed One, if one attained Bodhi as soon as one saw the Tathagata Dipamkara, why did the Blessed One still wander in samsara for countless kalpas? The Blessed One replied: Manjushri, in order to perform the deeds of a Buddha, to fully ripen sentient beings, and to obtain the perfection of past aspirations, I wander in samsara for countless kalpas. However, Manjushri, there I obtained Bodhi, and there I entered into complete Nirvana. Then, in order to extensively explain this meaning, the Blessed One spoke these verses at that time: Possessing this (samadhi) will become a guide, with boundless wisdom and supreme wisdom, hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas in the ten directions will remember him. He will perfectly distinguish the principles of hundreds of Sutras, which are inconceivable and countless, and if he diligently practices this Sutra, he will obtain inexhaustible Dharani.

May the holders of mantras not be devoured by demons, this is the door to all sounds. May all thorough understanding, complete liberation, and unobstructed grasping be pacified. May there be no birth, no cessation, no baseless sorrowful passing, and no epidemics. May all the powers, marks, excellent signs, and qualities of the Victorious Ones be accomplished. May all the branches of sound and the various infinite sounds be purified. May all recollection, satisfaction, and all actions and grasping be relinquished. Those who have been tamed into arhats are as infinite as the sands of the Ganges. Those who have come from hundreds of thousands of Buddha-fields to see the guide will come with joy. When the Bhagavan spoke this Dharma discourse, countless beings entered into the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Bodhisattvas, hundreds of thousands of kotis, surpassed.
