Thus, it was well explained. He also made a firm determination on the immeasurable Dharma. Thereafter, King Glorious Splendor, having heard the Bhagavan explain this immeasurable Dharma, was satisfied and delighted. Rejoicing and exceedingly joyful, having generated joy and happiness, together with his sons, he praised the Bhagavan with verses: The guide is sovereign over all dharmas, He completely subdues all assemblies of speakers, He eliminates the strife of demons and all afflictions, I prostrate to the incomparable ocean of wisdom. The light of the sun and moon and fire, The light of Indra, Brahma, jewels, and lightning, Are obscured by the splendor of the Sugata, I prostrate to the light-making supreme among humans. The capable one, even in oceans of eons past, Performed various kinds of difficult practices, The fruit of that activity is pleasing to the mind, Therefore, beings never tire of beholding him. Seeing beings tormented by birth, aging, sickness, and death, And afflicted by many sufferings, The great capable one has great compassion for them, And always teaches the unchanging Dharma of peace. Like a physician for all beings in the three realms, He purifies all the darkness of desire and hatred, Having generated compassion, he gives the medicine of Dharma, And excellently teaches the unsurpassed peace. He perfectly knows the conduct of all beings, In all the vast realms, he knows Which beings will attain the supreme Nirvana, And teaches such a Dharma. Supreme among humans, how great is your compassion, For all the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas of the countless vast realms, None of them have such compassion. Endowed with a mass of merit and excellent marks, The body of the Victorious One is like a golden mountain, Possessing splendor greater than billions of suns, I prostrate to the incomparable supreme among humans. When the Dharma cloud pours down the rain of Dharma from the ocean, Those who have vast aspiration as their field of activity, Do not fear the practices of the Buddhas of the past, They are always in the presence of the Sugata. In countless billions of incalculable eons, It is very rare to see the supreme among humans, Those who have completely purified their minds through meritorious deeds, Are the ones who guide beings before their eyes. The body of the Victorious One is the Dharma.

Filling all completely. In all the boundless realms, there is no manifestation of passing away or birth, yet they dwell in the world like vessels. Seeing the truth and showing the ultimate meaning, the benefactor of the Dharma, possessing a peaceful mind, crossing over and then saving the bound beings, Sugata, I prostrate to you. You have uprooted the tree of birth from its roots, crushed the solid mountain of arrogance into dust, without pride, free from deceit and falsehood, I prostrate to the one with the most peaceful mind. Supreme being, you have no attachment at all, your thoughts are like earth, water, and fire, Victorious One, you have an equal mind towards all beings, I prostrate to the one like wind and space. Great Sage, you are such a treasure of qualities, possessing a body born from the ocean of merit, even if one were to speak of you for countless eons, one could not exhaust the ocean of qualities. To the ocean of qualities, offered by gods and humans, I and my son together make offerings. If there is merit from offering to the Victorious One, may I become like the Great Sage. After the Lotus Adornment Essence, King Glorious Majesty, at another time, dwelt in the garden in a state of meditative absorption, from the left and right arose two beautiful, pleasing, and pure lotuses of sandalwood serpent heart. From those two lotuses, two boys named Jewel Mind and Jewel Supreme were miraculously born and sat in the lotus position. Thus, the Lotus Adornment Essence, King Glorious Majesty, arose from that meditative absorption and saw the two boys sitting in the lotus position. Having seen them, he spoke in verse: Are you two gods or nagas? Are you yakshas, gandharvas, humans, or non-humans? Please tell me who you are, friends. Thus, the Lotus Adornment Essence, the boy born on the right side of King Glorious Majesty, spoke to King Glorious Majesty in verse: Friend, all dharmas are emptiness, why do you ask for a name? If all dharmas are without name, whose name do you ask? In emptiness there is no god, no naga, nor rakshasa, nor non-human
