It will not become unequal again. Manjushri, It is so. The Tathagata has taught the Dharma without inequality. Manjushri, where there is no inequality, it is indestructible. Where it is indestructible and equal, that is without inequality. Without dependence. Without entering. Without going. Going is completely cut off. It is not to be known. What is not to be known? Eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind are not to be known. All that has become karma is not to be known. That is the cessation of the karma of body, the karma of speech, and the karma of mind. Why does it cease? Did those that occurred earlier cease later? Or did it cease because it perished in the past? What perishes and ceases? That is, previously, dwelling in ignorance without knowing, one manifestly performs unwholesome deeds. Having known that, one does not manifestly perform them. One who previously did not rely on the noble Dharma, but dwelt in ignorance and performed unwholesome deeds, relies on the noble path and, having realized it with wisdom, does not manifestly perform them. That which is empty of wisdom is emptiness itself. The eye is empty of wisdom. The ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind are also the same. Why is that? Wisdom is empty of wisdom, and emptiness is the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. Because the mind is not an object of focus, the eye does not abide in the eye. Why is that? Because the eye is utterly unborn, the eye does not abide, and the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind are also the same. Because the mind is not an object of focus, the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind do not abide in the mind. Why is that? Because the eye is utterly unborn, the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind do not abide. Because it does not abide, it becomes cool, and abides with a secluded mind. What is seclusion? Manjushri, where all dharmas are the limit of equality, and the limit of non-duality, and the limit of truth, and utterly without the limit of arising, that is called seclusion. Manjushri, in seclusion there is no birth, aging, or death. Where there is no birth, aging, or death, there is no suffering. Where there is no suffering, there is no suffering.

There is no arising. That which does not arise suffering, that has no fear. That which has no fear is separated from mind and consciousness. That which is separated from mind and consciousness is unborn and unceasing. That which is unborn and unceasing is solitary; abiding in that and that, therefore the Thus-Gone One, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha is said to abide in solitude. Manjushri, the Thus-Gone One has no abiding place. Considering the Thus-Gone One is without consideration. Not seeing all phenomena is seeing the Thus-Gone One. The word of the Thus-Gone One is beyond all words; it is unteachable. Why is that? Manjushri, because my teaching of all phenomena through letters and definitive words has ceased, Manjushri, the Thus-Gone One does not utter even a single letter. Why is that? Because the Thus-Gone One has no entry of mind. There is no action of mind. There is no definite thought from mind. There is no movement of mind. There is no complete understanding of mind. There is no peaceful abiding of mind. There is no consciousness following mind. There is no dwelling of one's own mind. There is no dwelling of another's mind. The Thus-Gone One has no mind dwelling in form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. There is no mind dwelling in eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. The Thus-Gone One has no mind dwelling in form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and phenomena. Why is that? Manjushri, the Thus-Gone One is peaceful. Has become cool. Is always in equanimity. Is invisible. Is unseeable. Is infinite. Is like a cloud. Although it is so, sentient beings, through the power of generating roots of virtue in the past, and through the blessings of the Thus-Gone One's past aspirations and actions, see the Thus-Gone One. They will definitely remember. They will inquire completely. Those sentient beings whose faculties are fully matured, and those who are to be tamed, will know that the Thus-Gone One utters sounds in that way. Why is that? Because the Thus-Gone One is unborn and unceasing. That which is of all phenomena
