No roots have been accumulated. Consciousness is like an illusion. False accumulation is not genuine. Action is necessarily born from aggregation. Improper attention arises from aggregation. Therefore, thinking that no roots of virtue have been accumulated, and thus examining it. Whoever has accumulated roots of virtue, that is also invisible. If examined in that way, it is invisible. There is no arrogance of thinking "invisible." Whoever abides in the essence of enlightenment, that is also invisible. There is no arrogance of thinking "invisible." Therefore, enlightenment is also invisible. There is no arrogance of thinking "invisible." Whoever attains complete perfect enlightenment here, that is also invisible. There is no arrogance of thinking "invisible." Therefore, after examining separately in that way, there is no arrogance of enlightenment. There is no arrogance of sentient beings. There is no arrogance of the wisdom of the Buddha, that is the excellent protector, the unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. He has no arrogance towards any dharma. What is the reason for that? Because he does not see the arising of any dharma, nor does he see the cessation of any dharma. Because he has truly comprehended the state of peace as it is, therefore he is called Buddha. He does not engage in all discriminations, various discriminations, and universal discriminations. That is peace. It has become cool. Separation from mind, intellect, and consciousness is called Buddha. Excellent protector, this is the samadhi called the miraculous transformation of extreme peace and complete certainty. Excellent protector, the bodhisattva who trains in this samadhi manifests from all samadhis. Then, the youthful Manjushri said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, are unborn and unceasing, yet they are universally present in birth and cessation, they do not speak a single word, yet they teach the Dharma to countless billions of beings, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, are skilled in means, it is truly wondrous! Then, the Blessed One said to the youthful Manjushri: Manjushri, in the Buddha-field that is superior with the essence of twelve qualities...

For the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, the manifestation of Buddhahood, also fully demonstrates the degenerate age, as well as the degenerate time, the degenerate beings, the degenerate afflictions, the degenerate life, and the Buddha-fields with different sects and pervasive defilements, and shows the nearby places, as well as various teachings and various ways of maturing sentient beings, as well as the afflictions disturbed by other heretics, the demons and the near afflictions of demons, the demonic deeds and the afflictions tormented by the opposing armies, as well as local wars and bloody wars, the near afflictions of bandits, as well as disturbances by foreigners, disturbances by thieves, disturbances by famine, yakshas, rakshasas, pretas, flesh-eaters, kumbhandas, and the disturbances of corpses are also fully manifested, but there are no such faults in the Buddha-field. The Tathagata's past roots of virtue, conduct, aspirations, and the blessings of skillful means, subdue sentient beings as they should be subdued, and mature sentient beings in the same way. Although the Tathagata knows the actions of sentient beings, the Tathagata is equal in all things, and this non-discrimination is also the Tathagata's skillful means. After saying this, Manjushri, the youth, asked the Blessed One: What are the essential qualities of the Buddha-field, and what qualities does it possess? If the Buddha-field possesses the essential qualities of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, who manifest perfect and complete enlightenment, please explain those twelve essential qualities of merit. The Blessed One said: Manjushri, the Buddha-field possesses the essence of the eon, the essence of time, the essence of sentient beings, the essence of the field, the essence of the vehicle, and the essence of the earth. The Buddha-field possesses the essence of the doctrine. In the Buddha-field, other heretical practitioners, wanderers, and naked ascetics do not roam. The Buddha-field possesses intention and higher intention and

It is complete. The Buddha's realm is where beings who naturally possess white Dharma reside. The Buddha's realm possesses the essence of noble beings. In the Buddha's realm, the previous Tathagatas have passed away and subsequently pass away. Manjushri, the Buddha's realm possesses those twelve qualities of essence. There, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Manjushri, you should understand through this method that in my Buddha-field, there is no separate establishment of the Hearer and Solitary Realizer vehicles. Why is that? Because it is free from the concept of difference. Manjushri, if the Tathagata teaches the Great Vehicle to some beings, the Solitary Realizer Vehicle to some, and the Hearer Vehicle to some, if that were the case, the Tathagata would become impure in mind, unequal in mind, manifest attachment, the Tathagata would possess limited compassion, the Tathagata would fall into the fault of various concepts, the Tathagata would become a teacher who conceals the scriptures. Manjushri, whatever Dharma the Tathagata teaches, all those Dharmas are inclined towards the Great Vehicle, converge into the Great Vehicle, lead to the Great Vehicle, accomplish the wisdom of omniscience, cause the attainment of the wisdom of omniscience, and enter for the sake of attaining the wisdom of omniscience. Manjushri, therefore, in the Buddha's realm, there is no separate establishment of vehicles. Manjushri asked, "Bhagavan, if there is no separate establishment of vehicles, then what about the three vehicles that the Bhagavan teaches to beings: 'This is the Hearer Vehicle, this is the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, this is the Great Vehicle'?" The Bhagavan replied, "Manjushri, the so-called separate establishment of vehicles is merely a designation based on the ground. Manjushri, the so-called teaching of the three kinds of Dharma, superior, middling, and inferior, that is the Tathagata's teaching of the characteristics of the Dharma.
