Those wise ones who possess the discipline of the mind, Even for a moment, do not act falsely, And do not deceive even the guru, This is said to be the supreme discipline of the mind. Those wise ones who possess the discipline of the mind, Do not generate desire or hatred in their minds, Likewise, they do not generate ignorance in anything, This is said to be the most supreme discipline of the mind. Those wise ones who possess the discipline of the mind, Do not abandon their minds from enlightenment, And do not disturb their excellent intentions, This is said to be the supreme discipline of the mind. Those wise ones who possess the discipline of the mind, Do not dwell together with the many faults of the mind, This is said to be the supreme discipline of the mind. Causing the mind to enter as if it were an illusion, Like a dream, and also like a mirage, Always the nature of an eye-dazzler, This is said to be the most supreme discipline of the mind. Causing happiness to enter as if it were a dream, Likewise, impermanent, empty, truly dark, Thus, the wise cause it to enter the mind, This is said to be the most supreme discipline of the mind. Causing the mind to enter as if there were no life or sentient beings, Arising from conditions, like a whirling firebrand, From where does it come, where does it not go? This is said to be the most supreme discipline of the mind. The mind is not closely observed anywhere, Without discrimination, it does not become arrogant, It does not look, and does not cling to appearances, This is said to be the most supreme discipline of the mind.
