What is wisdom? It is like this: fully revealing the true Dharma as it is. What is knowing the distinctions? It is like this: knowing how to enter correctly as it is. What is truly determining the meaning? It is like this: cutting off the aggregate of formations. What is completely abandoning harm? It is like this: completely transcending existence, and also leading others to completely transcend existence. What is relying on a noble person? It is like this: not being separated from the Buddha. What is associating with a noble person? It is like this: relying on the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, as well as Pratyekabuddhas and Shravakas. What is completely abandoning non-noble persons? It is like this: completely abandoning those with attachment and the lazy. What is not abandoning meditation? It is like this: completely abandoning the thorns of desire, not abandoning meditation, and not abandoning joy. What is not being attached to meditation? It is like this: aspiring to completely transcend the three realms, aspiring to fully ripen sentient beings, and aspiring to further attain the light of wisdom. What is transforming through supernormal knowledge? It is like this: abiding in the five supernormal knowledges, and for those difficult to understand aspects of the Buddha's teachings, truly and fully revealing them to others. What is the indication of names? It is like this: understanding things that are not yet fully established through names. What is imputed speech? It is like this: it is worldly speech. What is destroying imputation? It is like this: knowing how to speak. What is turning away from samsara? It is like this: individually contemplating the faults of samsara. What is not desiring gain? It is like this: truly having few desires. What is not accepting gain and respect? It is like this: being without suffering, and being separated from desiring evil. What is not becoming discouraged by lack of praise? It is like this: knowing how to fully contemplate the aggregates and elements. What is not accepting true praise? It is like this: not being proud of virtuous deeds, and knowing that gain and respect are obstacles. What is giving up respect?
