arise. Illuminating all four directions, Like the moon freed from Rahu's grasp, beautiful. Upon seeing the monk entering the king's palace, The groups of women rejoiced and made sounds. There, I spoke harsh words: "You thousand sons, go, Chop this monk into pieces, This is my great enemy, a wicked one." All the youths were gentle and disciplined, With kind thoughts towards me, they prostrated to that monk. The king should not act according to such commands. At that time, I was overwhelmed by sorrow. The monk, possessing the highest discipline, Seeing him approach like a loving father, Yet, with an extremely cruel heart, he was killed. In the future, I will fall and be burned in Avici hell. The joyful one resides on this path of the king, Performing wicked deeds, Causing suffering to people. He acted according to my command, Cutting down the monk like a string of flowers. In the best forest, everywhere delightful and joyful, Filled with birds and the fragrance of flowers flourishing. There, also, were many other monks, Like an only child separated from its mother. Monk, please arise and dwell in the forest, And also perform vast benefits for the people. When he came around the king's palace, The monks wept and searched with great compassion. With his right hand, he held a flower banner, And with his left, other beautiful ornaments. The road was also swept and covered with clothes. Monk, please arise and expound the supreme Dharma. Even though you have entered this city of the king for a long time, The monks weep and search with extreme compassion. When the teachings of the supreme Victor are declining, I fear that obstacles may arise for your life. Like some powerful individuals, Whose voices always resound in all directions, Overpowering all these three realms, Like leaping into a great cliff and falling to the ground. Similarly, the monk adorned with supreme marks, With a beautiful face, fell on this earth. The flower, beautiful as the moon, without anger or cruelty, I, with a sinful mind, chopped him into pieces. The flower, beautiful as the moon, was killed and fell to the ground, Upon seeing this Dharma speaker, quickly, All the monks were tormented by suffering, And displeasure arose.

Thus, the mind is displeased. Like the king of mountains, beautiful with flowers and moon, the thirty-two marks are divided in order, like a garland held by a woman. Here, he is cut into pieces. I have committed extremely evil and unwholesome deeds. Without protector or refuge, I go to the realm of Yama. Here again, by dismembering the monk, I am far, far away from all the Buddhas. Because I have committed extremely evil deeds, neither children, relatives, nor friends will protect me. The ministers and attendants, even if they go to hell, will not protect me. Buddhas who have passed away, those who have not yet come, and those who dwell in the ten directions, leaders with the ten powers, free from afflictions, I seek refuge in their vajra-like, solid bodies. Having seen the monk dismembered there, the gods, with great compassion, utter cries of sorrow. They went there and informed the Sangha. Flower Moon Beauty was killed in this royal palace. The Dharma speaker is a wise and realized one, of great power, extremely famous in all directions and intermediate directions. That Bodhisattva who abides in Dharani, Flower Moon Beauty, was killed in this royal palace. In countless eons, he gave various kinds of gifts. He protected the precepts without wavering, without fault. He was an incomparable patient one in all the world. Flower Moon Beauty was killed in this royal palace. In countless eons, he was always diligent, cultivating the four dhyanas with an unyielding mind. He relied on the wisdom that destroys afflictions. Flower Moon Beauty was killed in this royal palace. He completely abandoned all attachment to the body, and likewise, he was not attached to life. Having descended from the forest of Samantabhadra, Flower Moon Beauty was killed in this royal palace. Having heard the compassion of the gods' cries of sorrow, all those monks, in great suffering, because Flower Moon Beauty was killed innocently, gathered in the city to see this. Those who came to the royal palace, having seen the monk dismembered, uttered unbearable cries of sorrow with pitiful voices. All of them fainted and fell to the ground. The Sangha of monks said to the king, "This monk, whose precepts are flawless and extremely disciplined, what crime has he committed? This is from the past."
