In one day, the king, in three periods, Before that Bhikshu's stupa, Confessed all the sins he had previously committed. At that time, he also deeply confessed in three periods. For ninety-five trillion years, He also confessed the wrongdoings he had committed, And afterwards, he guarded the pure precepts without breaking them. Completely pure, clean, and without defilement. For ninety-five trillion years, He also restored the Uposatha at that time. Then, at that time, after my body was destroyed, I fell into the unbearable Avici hell. Because of greed, having done deeds without compassion, I also experienced many sufferings. Ninety-five trillion Buddhas, At that time, I did not please them. For ninety-five trillion years, At that time, I became blind. In sixty-two trillion kalpas, Previously, my eyes were also gouged out. In a thousand trillion kalpas, And extremely many, my eyes were gouged out and stolen. My head, ears, and also my hands and feet, Were cut off in countless trillions of kalpas. In trillions of kalpas, Whether born as a human or in another life, I was tormented by the sufferings of samsara, And experienced painful feelings for a long time. Because of doing sinful deeds, in samsara, I experienced extremely intense suffering for a long time. Therefore, whoever desires the peace of Bodhi, Should not commit evil in the three realms. Even though the great king confessed his previous deeds, He was not liberated from the previous wrongdoings. Because he had previously done repulsive deeds, After he died, he went to the repulsive Avici hell. My ears, as well as my hands and feet, were cut off.

When practicing this supreme Bodhi practice, these sufferings were all experienced in the past. Bodhisattvas who abide in Dharani, whose loving conduct is constant, unwavering, and unmoving, having purified Buddha-dust and worshiped the gods of gods, they will never go to evil realms. The thirty-two marks are distinguished by names. Whoever desires to become the Dharma King Buddha, protect the precepts without mixing and without wavering. Abide well in Dharani and also teach the Dharma. I was then the king named Dana-pala (Dpas byin, Giver of Protection). My sons will protect the Dharma in the future.
