, and the Samadhi of the Bodhisattva that masters all dharmas. Manjushri, in the past, there occurred immeasurable, countless, inconceivable, incomparable, unmeasurable, and inexpressible eons. Beyond even the furthest of those, there was an eon called "Assembly of Flowers." In that eon of the Assembly of Flowers, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, perfect in knowledge and conduct, Sugata, knower of the world, unsurpassed guide of beings, teacher of gods and humans, the Buddha, Bhagavan, named Precious Supreme appeared in the world. The first gathering of Shravakas of that Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, Precious Supreme Buddha, consisted of eighty kotis of nayutas of Shravakas. All of them were Arhats, with exhausted outflows, without afflictions, having attained mastery, their minds completely liberated, their wisdom completely liberated, knowers, great elephants, having done what was to be done, having accomplished what was to be accomplished, having cast off their burdens, having attained their own benefit, having completely exhausted all connections to existence, having reached the ultimate shore of all mental mastery. The gathering of Bodhisattvas was twice that number. All of them had correctly entered into the aspiration for the immeasurable pure Buddha-fields in immeasurable world realms, had correctly entered into the aspiration for the immeasurable pure Buddha-fields in countless world realms, and had correctly entered into the aspiration for the immeasurable pure Buddha-fields in inconceivable, incomparable, unmeasurable, and inexpressible world realms. Furthermore, the second gathering of Shravakas consisted of one koti of Shravakas. The gathering of Bodhisattvas was twice that number. The third gathering of Shravakas consisted of one hundred kotis of nayutas of Shravakas. All of them were Arhats, without afflictions, having attained mastery, up to having reached the ultimate shore of all mental mastery. The gathering of Bodhisattvas was twice that number. Each day when the Dharma was taught, there was a gathering of Shravakas.

And, the assembled Bodhisattvas together understood all the Dharma taught by the Tathagata. Manjushri, the Shravaka assembly of that precious and holy Tathagata, even a skilled mathematician or a disciple of a mathematician, could not count, even in a kalpa, a hundred kalpas, a thousand kalpas, a hundred thousand kalpas, a billion kalpas, a trillion kalpas, a giga kalpa, a tera kalpa, or up to an incalculable kalpa, how many Shravakas there were, such as "Are there this many Shravakas?", "Are there hundreds of Shravakas?", "Are there thousands of Shravakas?", "Are there hundreds of thousands of Shravakas?", "Are there billions of Shravakas?", "Are there trillions of Shravakas?", "Are there so many giga Shravakas?", "Are there so many tera Shravakas?", "Are there so many incalculable Shravakas?" It is impossible to calculate. Manjushri, just like this, for example, in the number of stars in the three-thousand-great-thousand world system, it is impossible to count "Are there this many stars?", "Are there hundreds of stars?", "Are there thousands of stars?", "Are there hundreds of thousands of stars?", "Are there billions of stars?", "Are there trillions of stars?", "Are there so many giga stars?", "Are there so many tera stars?", "Are there so many incalculable stars?", even a skilled mathematician or a disciple of a mathematician cannot count them. However, just as the number of stars is immeasurable, Manjushri, the limit of those Shravaka assemblies is also impossible to fathom. Manjushri, at that time, there was a king named Steadfast Wisdom, who possessed Dharma, a king of Dharma, who ruled and possessed all of that Buddha-field. Having obtained miraculous powers arising from the maturation of karma, he served the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, the precious and holy one, together with the Sangha of Shravakas and Bodhisattvas, for sixty billion trillion years, offering food of a hundred flavors. He also offered garments from the land of Kashi and all necessities, like this.
