For the sake of distinguishing. For the sake of turning back those who have gone astray into the wrong path. Since I wish to place them on the unsurpassed path. I prostrate and pay homage to the teacher. I attend to the hundred Buddhas of the past. I think of going on the path of the previous victors. I attend upon the Sangha of the Tathagatas. I prostrate and pay homage to the teacher. I shall learn after the previous victors. I shall go after the realization of peace. I shall abandon all defilements without exception. Therefore, I shall serve the victors. Those sentient beings who have lost their way and are utterly exhausted. I shall place them on the supreme path. I shall firmly establish them in supreme bliss. Therefore, I shall serve the victors. I shall make all beings happy. I shall sprinkle water on their footprints. I shall fully reveal that cool place. Therefore, I shall make offerings to the victors. Beings are thirsty for defilements and craving. All sentient beings are burned by the fire of defilements. Those who have not seen peace, are without protectors, and are weary. I shall liberate them, therefore I shall do this. Because they are not satisfied with the qualities of desire. They revolve in samsara by the power of attachment. Those childish beings who seek guidance. I shall liberate them, therefore I shall do this. Children are blinded by the power of hatred. They do not restrain themselves well, and their minds generate hatred. In order to completely liberate them. I shall do great deeds for the victors. Childish beings are obscured by the power of ignorance. Those who do not know what to do and what not to do. In order to completely liberate them. I shall do great deeds for the victors. Children arise from the power of jealousy. They do not know peace and are bound to existence. In order to completely liberate them. I shall do great deeds for the victors. Children arise from the power of miserliness. Because they do not know giving, liberation, and results. They always hoard and experience suffering. For their sake, I shall make great offerings.
