As soon as he saw the Tathagata, he completely purified the Perfection of Wisdom. At that time, that Tathagata prophesied him to attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. O Bhikshu Cloud King, relying on what roots of virtue does the Perfection of Wisdom become completely pure? It is like this: by entering into the equality of the three times, and by seeing all the dharmas of the three times as equal, O Bhikshu Cloud King, the Perfection of Wisdom becomes completely pure. Because one does not see conditioned and unconditioned dharmas as different, O Bhikshu Cloud King, the Perfection of Wisdom becomes completely pure. Because one sees all dharmas as being devoid of inherent existence, O Bhikshu Cloud King, the Perfection of Wisdom becomes completely pure. Because one sees all dharmas as unborn and unceasing, O Bhikshu Cloud King, the Perfection of Wisdom becomes completely pure. Because one sees all dharmas as neither coming nor going, O Bhikshu Cloud King, the Perfection of Wisdom becomes completely pure. The Prajñāpāramitā is completely pure. Thus, seeing that all dharmas arise from the realm of dharmas, the Bhikṣu Cloud King's Prajñāpāramitā is completely pure. Thus, because that Prajñā- pāramitā is completely pure, he obtains such power of the root of virtue. Because he obtains such power of the root of virtue, he rises seven tāla trees into the sky. Abiding in the sky, in the immeasurable realms of the ten directions, he sees the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, some attaining the Unsurpassed Perfectly Complete Enlightenment, some turning the Unsurpassed Wheel of Dharma, some subduing beings with various miraculous displays, some abandoning the activities of life, some entering into complete extinction in the realm of Nirvāṇa without remainder. Having seen this, he praises the Tathāgata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Complete Buddha, the unequaled glory and light, with verses endowed with Prajñāpāramitā. In many hundreds of millions of kalpas, I have extensively given limitless gifts. I have often inquired about the teachings of the Sugata, and I have attended to many places of giving. The wise one of the world, renowned in the world, with eyes, without stain, called the wise one. Like Mount Sumeru piled up with a hundred marks of merit, in order to seek enlightenment, I have served him. Sixty kotis, countless in number, his sangha, the sons of the Sugata, likewise. For seventy kotis of years, I have served and honored the Buddhas and the Śrāvakas. Rejoicing and generating faith, various pleasing foods and drinks. I have offered to the Sugata, but the Sugata has not prophesied to me. In the past, Buddhas appeared in the world, the wise one, the protector of the world, eliminating sorrows. The Tathāgata named Fire Point Cloud, I have served that Buddha with his Śrāvakas. For sixty-four kotis of years, I have respectfully served that Buddha and his retinue. Because I have not cultivated vast wisdom, but the Sugata has not prophesied to me. In the past, a guide appeared, the wise one.

Also known as "Ocean." Becoming an attendant of that Dharma King, there were sixty kotis of nayutas. I served and honored that Supreme King with sravakas for ninety kotis of years. In order to seek the supreme Bodhi, I extensively gave limitless offerings here. Five years after nirvana, I paid homage to the Sugata sravakas. I fully offered them in the form of food and drink. However, that Sugata did not prophesy me. In the past, there appeared a tamer, the wise Sage Mountain Thus Come One. His fields are incomparable and inconceivable. In all the worlds of kotis of nayutas, the assembly of the protector Sugata became the sravakas who truly see. In seven kotis of Buddha fields, someone divided them into minute particles, and then a person born of someone took that dust divided into minute particles. That person took the extremely small dust and went to the east, where there are swift ones, like Buddha fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. He crossed those fields with one step. Similarly, that person went through hundreds of kalpas and finally dropped a single extremely small dust. Similarly, all the extremely small dust went to the east and were all discarded. Similarly, in all ten directions, all the minute dust were discarded. Those lands, whether they discarded or did not discard minute dust, gathered them in one city and then filled it with mustard seeds. If all the worlds were filled with mustard seeds, someone would be willing to divide them into extremely small dust, just like before. Similarly, all the lands in all directions are emptied and compared, perhaps one can still find its end. That protector's field has no limit. That Sugata has countless arhats, inconceivable sravakas.
