那时出现于世，名为遍护如来、应供、正遍知、明行圆满、善逝、世间解、无上士、调御丈夫、天人师、佛、世尊。我于彼时，从梵天界寿尽，生于赡部洲，作转轮圣王，导师名为总天。人的寿命能活九万岁。我以一切安乐资具，供养那位佛陀和九十万比丘，长达九万年，寻求无上正等觉。那位遍护佛也没有给我授记，说你未来会成佛。为什么呢？因为那时我未能领悟一切法的真实相，贪执于我见，见到有可得之物。舍利子，那个劫有百位佛陀出现，名号各不相同。那时我作一切的转轮圣王，直至身寿终尽，供养弟子们和所有人，寻求无上正等觉，那些佛陀也没有给我授记，说你未来会成佛，因为享用了可得之物。舍利子，我忆念过去，在七百无数劫时，曾遇到一千位佛陀，都名为瞻部檀那。我以四种方式供养直至身寿终尽，但也没有得到授记，因为我仍然享用了可得之物。舍利子，我忆念过去，在七百劫时，也曾遇到六万二千位佛陀，都名为一切义成。那时我作一切的转轮圣王，以一切安乐资具供养弟子和所有人直至身寿终尽，但也没有给我授记，因为享用了可得之物。舍利子，我忆念过去，也在七百劫时，遇到八十四位佛陀，都名为导师。

At that time, having exhausted my lifespan in the Brahma realm, I was born in Jambudvipa, and became a Chakravartin king, and the teacher was called General God. The human lifespan could reach ninety thousand years. I offered all the pleasant necessities to that Buddha and ninety hundred thousand monks, and sought the unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment for ninety thousand years. That Buddha Khyap Sung also did not prophesy to me, saying that you will attain Buddhahood in the future. Why? Because at that time I was unable to comprehend the true characteristics of all dharmas, and was attached to the view of self, seeing that there was something to be obtained. At that time, I became the Chakravartin king of all, and until the end of my life, I offered to the disciples and everyone, seeking the unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment, and those Buddhas also did not prophesy to me, saying that you will attain Buddhahood in the future, because I enjoyed what could be obtained. Shariputra, I remember the past, in the time of seven hundred countless kalpas, I met a thousand Buddhas, all named Jambudana. I offered in four ways until the end of my life, but there was no prophecy, because I still enjoyed what could be obtained. Shariputra, I remember the past, also in the time of seven hundred kalpas, I also met sixty-two thousand Buddhas, all named Sarvarthasiddha. At that time, I became the Chakravartin king of all, and offered pleasant necessities to the disciples and everyone until the end of my life, but there was no prophecy for me, because I enjoyed what could be obtained. 在地上的时候，有一百一十六万个轮宝之王，名字各不相同。诸国王等，我为你们这些快乐的人讲述。舍利子，你意下如何？这些国王不是别人，正是我自己的身体。舍利子，我回忆过去的时候，过去的时候有一位佛，名叫善眼。慈氏菩萨做轮宝之王，名叫显现。最初发起无上菩提心的时候，众生的寿命能活到八万四千岁。善眼佛三次集会说法，第一次集会时，九十六万人同时获得道。之后，盛大的集会中，九十四万人同时获得道。第三次，盛大的集会中，九十二万人同时获得道。那位国王，佛陀三次集会说法，看到无数的人被救度，心中非常高兴。一万年间，用一切资具供养佛陀和弟子。发起菩提心，寻求无上正等觉佛陀，未来的时候救度众生就容易了。我何时成佛，寿命有多长，比丘僧团的数目，以及轮回的流转就是这样。舍利子，我了知此事，比这更久远，不可计数。舍利子，慈氏佛发起了菩提心。四十劫之后，我才发起菩提心。在无胜佛面前，最初种下善根。我用一千年的时间，用一切安乐的资具供养那位佛陀，并献上五百匹细布。那位佛陀涅槃之后，建造了一座七宝塔，高一由旬，周长半由旬。全部用金银、吠琉璃、摩罗迦、瑟智、砗磲和红珍珠制成。心中常常生起愿望，众生受苦，没有救度的边际，与恶法相遇，走上恶道。

At the time on earth, there were one million one hundred and sixteen thousand wheel-turning kings, each with different names. I will tell you, happy ones, about those kings and others. Shariputra, what do you think? These kings are none other than my own body. Shariputra, I recall that in the past, there was a Buddha named Good Eye. Bodhisattva Maitreya became a wheel-turning king named Manifestation. When he first generated the unsurpassed bodhichitta, beings could live to be eighty-four thousand years old. Buddha Good Eye held three assemblies to teach the Dharma. In the first assembly, ninety-six thousand people simultaneously attained the path. After that, in the grand assembly, ninety-four thousand people simultaneously attained the path. In the third and final grand assembly, ninety-two thousand people simultaneously attained the path. That king, the Buddha, held three assemblies to teach the Dharma, and seeing countless people being liberated, he was very happy in his heart. For ten thousand years, he offered all necessities to the Buddha and his disciples. He generated bodhichitta and sought the unsurpassed, perfectly enlightened Buddha, so that it would be easier to liberate beings in the future. When will I become a Buddha, how long will my lifespan be, what will be the number of the monastic community, and such is the cycle of samsara. Shariputra, my knowledge of this matter extends far beyond this, it is immeasurable. Shariputra, Buddha Maitreya generated bodhichitta. After forty kalpas, I then generated bodhichitta. In the presence of the Unconquerable Buddha, I first planted roots of virtue. For a thousand years, I offered all joyful necessities to that Buddha and offered five hundred bolts of fine cloth. After that Buddha passed away, I built a stupa of seven precious materials, one yojana in height and half a yojana in circumference. It was entirely made of gold, silver, lapis lazuli, emerald, agate, conch shell, and red pearls. Constantly generating the aspiration in my heart that beings suffer and there is no end to their suffering, encountering evil Dharma and going down evil paths.
