Because the Able One (Thub ching) was extremely tormented by suffering, for the benefit of all sentient beings, for the sake of happiness and compassion, and for the sake of taming those to be tamed, in order to explain the Dharma gate of the most secret aspects of emptiness in the Great Vehicle, they went to the Blessed One, prostrated with their heads at the feet of the Blessed One, made many kinds of supreme offerings and reverence, and also circumambulated. For the sake of the Blessed One's retinue, they each spread their upper garments on the ground, struck and scattered their ornaments, each plucked their hair, crying with unpleasant voices, and with unanimous words requested the Blessed One, saying: Blessed One, please partake of the food I have prepared, please completely enter into Nirvana. They requested this two or three times, but the Blessed One did not accept and said nothing. They were all discouraged and stood up and sat to one side. Furthermore, at that time, the Naga kings located in the four directions, such as the sons of the Naga King Norgye, and Gawa and Nye Gawa, as numerous as the sands of nine branches of the Ganges River, very quickly brought offerings that exceeded the offerings of the gods at sunrise by more than two times, commensurate with their respective wealth, went to the Blessed One, prostrated, and requested to partake of the food, but their wishes were not fulfilled, so they stood up and sat to one side. Furthermore, at that time, the Yaksha lords such as Namtose's son, together with their attendants and retinue, as numerous as the sands of ten branches of the Ganges River, one after another, used their respective offerings to overwhelm the previous offerings of the Naga kings, came with a grand procession, prostrated to the Blessed One, and requested to partake of the food, but the Blessed One did not partake of the food, so they stood up displeased and sat to one side. Furthermore, at that time, the Garuda kings such as the Garuda King named Enemy Friend, as numerous as the sands of twenty branches of the Ganges River, used their respective offerings to overwhelm the previous offerings of the Yaksha kings,

Having prostrated to the Bhagavan, they requested him to take food, but he did not take it. Displeased, they rose and sat to one side.
