May you attain the state of a deva! You should also give alms at the right time to those who are worthy vessels. Do not obstruct! How to view after the complete passing away of the Tathagata, that is not within the realm of us who are like bees, nor is it within the realm of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas.' Supreme among victors, if separated from you, we will become helpless. Now thinking that you will pass into nirvana, we are immersed in extremely deep suffering. Shakyamuni, we have lost our hearts. Like a cow being stolen by a thief, clinging to its calf. Some helpless, poor people, afflicted by disease without a doctor, acting willfully, eating harmful foods, like those who are about to die. These beings are afflicted by the disease of afflictions, without you, without the healing of your Dharma, they will die as if creating wrong views. Therefore, for the sake of benefit, please do not abandon the world! How will they perish?'
