Completely possessing water with the fragrance of divine sandalwood, beautifully adorned. In each of those great cities, there are eighty-four thousand eighty-four thousand kings, all surrounded by countless assemblies of women, possessing the five desirable qualities, playing and rejoicing, happily indulging. Other beings are also the same, the ground comfortable to the touch like Kacalinda cloth, sprinkled with sandalwood water, scattered with showers of flowers, others playing and rejoicing, happily indulging. In those great cities, there is no sound of any other vehicle except the sound of the Great Vehicle. On those great lotuses, there are also great lion thrones, the legs made of gold, silver, beryl, and crystal, covered with Kalinka cloth, suitable for greatness, completely adorned with the most excellent in the three realms. On those lion thrones, those kings sit, and other beings learn the sutras of the Great Vehicle. In front of those kings, some copy letters, some read, some learn to recite. Thus, those beings seated on the lotuses born from the pores of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva's great boundless body, although possessing the joy of the five desirable qualities, completely abandon them, tormented by sorrow, uttering lamentations, crying "Alas, alas," lamenting and sitting, offering twice the offerings. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva great boundless body, surrounded by countless Bodhisattvas, displaying such a sight of wealth, carrying great offerings and extremely abundant food, comes, and whatever is sensed of those foods and the fragrance of those lotuses also becomes free from afflictions. By the great power of the Bodhisattva, all the worlds become visible. The measure of the body of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva great boundless body is also like the sky, and no one can see it. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva great boundless body comes before the Blessed One.

Then, bowing to the Buddha's feet with his head, he joined his palms and pleaded thus: "May the Blessed One accept the food I have offered." After that, the Blessed One remained silent. Even though he pleaded two or three times, the Blessed One remained silent and stayed in silence. That Bodhisattva then stood up and sat to one side. Similarly, from the south, west, and north directions, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas named "Immeasurable Great Body" also arrived, each with a large assembly of attendants. The lotuses and cities of those Bodhisattvas were twice as large as the previous ones, and their wealth was also twice as great. After arriving there, they offered lotuses to the Blessed One and sat to one side as before. In that very place of accomplishment under the twin sala trees, on the ground within the area of thirty-two yojanas, there was not even the slightest space where sentient beings could not be accommodated. There, those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas with such large bodies, together with their respective attendants, some could only occupy the space of the tip of an arrow shaft, some could only occupy the space of the tip of a needle, and some could only barely settle in the space of a mote of dust. Those Bodhisattvas who dwell in worlds as numerous as motes of dust also arrived and settled in that same manner. Among the beings of Jambudvipa, no one came there except the venerable Light-Protected, the elder Ananda, and King Ajatashatru. Even the cruel people, cruel snakes, scorpions, and wasps, and up to sixteen kinds of repulsive creatures came there. The son of the almsgiver and all the Asuras who always harbored thoughts of enmity also abandoned their sinful deeds and regarded each other as if they were their own children, mothers, and sisters. All the beings dwelling in the three-thousand great-thousand world systems also cherished each other as if they were each other's only child, except for intense desire. The Saha world
