It is also called explaining countless names. Furthermore, there are instances of explaining countless names from a single meaning. What are they? For example, a skandha is also called a skandha, also called perverted, also called truth, also called the four mindfulnesses, also called the four outflows, also called the four abodes of consciousness, also called conditioned phenomena, also called the path, also called time, also called sentient beings, also called conventional, also called ultimate, also called body, discipline, and mind practice, also called cause and effect, also called afflictions, also called liberation, also called the twelve links of dependent origination, also called hearers and solitary buddhas, also called sentient beings in hell, hungry ghosts, animals, humans, and gods, also called past, future, and present. This is explaining countless names from a single meaning. Son of the lineage, the Buddha Bhagavan, for the sake of sentient beings, speaks briefly from the extensive, and extensively from the brief. The ultimate truth is the conventional truth, and the dharma of the conventional truth is the ultimate truth. So, how is it speaking briefly from the extensive? For example, just as I have spoken to the monks about the twelve links of dependent origination. What are the twelve links of dependent origination? It is like saying that this is cause and effect. So, how is it speaking extensively from the brief? For example, just as I have spoken to the monks about suffering, origin, cessation, and path. So, what is suffering? It is like saying that these are countless sufferings. What is origin? It is like saying that these are countless afflictions. What is cessation? It is like saying that these are countless liberations. What is the path? It is like saying that these are countless skillful means. So, how is it speaking of the conventional truth from the ultimate truth? For example, just as the Buddha said to the monks, "My body has aging, sickness, and death." So, how is it speaking of the ultimate truth from the conventional truth? For example, just as it is said to Kaundinya, "Because you have heard the meaning of the Dharma, you are called Kaundinya." Just like how a person is, how the mind is, how time is
