Therefore, one cannot see the Buddha-nature in that way. Bodhisattvas of the tenth bhumi see all dharmas as impermanent, selfless, without happiness, and without purity. They do not see even a trace of permanence, self, happiness, and purity in all non-dharmas. Therefore, they see only about one-tenth. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, sees all dharmas as impermanent, selfless, without happiness, and without purity. He sees all non-dharmas as permanent, self, happiness, and purity. Therefore, the Buddha-nature is seen as clearly as a myrobalan fruit placed in the palm of one's hand. Therefore, the Samadhi of Heroic Progress is said to be ultimate. Son of the lineage, for example, the crescent moon is not visible, but it cannot be said to be non-existent. The Buddha-nature is also the same. Although it is not seen by all inferior beings, it cannot be said that they do not have the Buddha-nature. Son of the lineage, the Buddha-nature is like this: the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, great compassion, and the three mindfulnesses. All sentient beings have these three aspects, and they can only be seen when afflictions are completely destroyed. Those with wrong views can only obtain the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, great compassion, and the three mindfulnesses when wrong views are completely destroyed. Therefore, I always say that all sentient beings have the Buddha-nature. Son of the lineage, these twelve links of dependent origination are equally present in all sentient beings, both internal and external. What are the twelve? Past afflictions are ignorance. Past actions are formations. In the present time, the initial entry into the womb is consciousness. After entering the womb, the five aggregates and four faculties are incomplete, which is name and form. Having the four faculties but not being called touch is the six sense bases. Not distinguishing between suffering and happiness is touch. Attachment to one desire is feeling. Attachment to the five desires is craving. It is
