Then, the Bhagavan addressed all the numerous retinues: "Sons of good family, if you have doubts about whether the Buddha exists or not? Does the Dharma exist or not? Does the Sangha exist or not? Does suffering exist or not? Does the origin exist or not? Does cessation exist or not? Does the path exist or not? Does truth exist or not? Does self exist or not? Does selflessness exist or not? Does suffering exist or not? Does suffering not exist? Does complete purity exist or not? Does complete purity not exist? Does permanence exist or not? Does impermanence exist or not? Does vehicle exist or not? Does vehicle not exist? Does nature exist or not? Does nature not exist? Do sentient beings exist or not? Do sentient beings not exist? Does existence exist or not? Does existence not exist? Does reality exist or not? Does reality not exist? Does cause exist or not? Does cause not exist? Does effect exist or not? Does effect not exist? Does the agent exist or not? Does the agent not exist? Does karma exist or not? Does karma not exist? Does maturation exist or not? Does maturation not exist? If you have any doubts, ask whatever you wish. I will distinguish them one by one and explain them to you. Sons of good family, whether it is a god, a human, a demon, Brahma, a Bhikshu, a Brahmin, or anyone else who asks, I will not fail to answer." Then, in the center of that assembly, a Bodhisattva named Lion's Roar stood up, adjusted his robes, prostrated with his head at the Buddha's feet, knelt on both knees, joined his palms, and said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, I also thought of asking a question, it is excellent that the Tathagata, with great compassion, has opened the opportunity to ask." Then, the Bhagavan addressed the numerous retinues: "Sons of good family, you should show special respect, honor, service, and esteem to this Bodhisattva, and offer incense, flowers, music, garlands, umbrellas, banners, clothes, food, drinks, bedding, medicine for sickness, dwellings, and so on."
