May we abandon illness and fear! When famine occurs, may we be content and satisfied! When disease and plague occur, may we become the king of medicine, and may we give medicines, wealth, and jewels as needed, according to our wishes, to eliminate diseases! In times of weapon calamities, may we have great power and strength, and may harm and injury be surely stopped! May we cut off all kinds of fears of sentient beings, such as death, bondage, beatings, water, fire, kings, thieves, poverty, collapse of laws, bad reputation, evil destinies, and so on. May all these fears be completely cut off! May we highly respect parents, Khenpos, and Lamas! May we generate great loving-kindness towards those who hold grudges and hatred! May we constantly cultivate the six mindfulnesses, the aspects of emptiness samadhi, the twelve links of dependent origination, the insight of arising and ceasing, counting the in and out breaths, the conduct of gods, the conduct of Brahma, the conduct of the noble ones, the vajra-like samadhi, the heroic samadhi, and so on! In places where there are no Three Jewels, may we obtain a completely peaceful mind, and even if we experience great suffering in body and mind, may we not lose the supreme Bodhicitta! May we not be content with the minds of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas! In places where there are no Three Jewels, may we always renounce the teachings of non-Buddhists, destroy evil views, and not become accustomed to their teachings, so that we may gain mastery over the Dharma and mastery over the mind! May we clearly see the faults of conditioned phenomena! Just as we cherish life and fear abandoning the body, may we fear the results of the path of self and the two vehicles! Just as sentient beings are fond of the pleasures of the Thirty-Three Heavens, may we be fond of the three lower realms for the sake of sentient beings! Even for the sake of one sentient being, even if we experience the suffering of sentient beings in hell for countless eons, may we not generate a mind of regret!

If you see others gain something, do not be jealous, and may you always rejoice as if you yourself have attained happiness. If you encounter the Three Jewels, may you offer them clothing, food, bedding, dwellings, medicine for illness, lamps, flowers, incense, musical instruments, umbrellas, banners, and the seven precious things. If you receive the precepts of the Buddha, may you guard them with great care, and may you not give rise to any signs of breaking them. If you hear of the hardships practiced by Bodhisattvas, may you rejoice greatly and not give rise to any regret. Remembering my past lives, may I never engage in the actions of desire, hatred, and ignorance. Do not accumulate causes and conditions in order to expect the ripening of fruit. Do not be attached to or cling to the happiness of the present, thus I vow. Son of good family, whoever makes such vows is also called a Bodhisattva who never turns back or loses the mind of enlightenment. The lord of generosity, who directly sees the Tathagata and the Buddha-nature, who is skilled in taming beings, who liberates from samsara, and who holds and protects the supreme Dharma, is also said to possess the six perfections. Son of good family, therefore, the irreversible mind should not be called the Buddha-nature. Son of good family, because you have the irreversible mind, it is not right to say that all sentient beings do not have the Buddha-nature. For example, two people say this: "In another direction there is a mountain of seven precious things, and on that mountain there is also a good spring with delicious taste. Whoever goes there will be without poverty, and whoever drinks that water will have a long life and be able to live for hundreds of thousands of years, but the danger is that the road is long, dangerous, and full of obstacles." After hearing this, both of them decided to go. One of them prepared all the necessary equipment for the journey and set off. The other set off empty-handed without anything. As they traveled together on the road, they met a person carrying many of the seven precious things. Then the two people asked, "Great being, is that place truly...
