He delights in practicing the path, and for the sake of destroying evil views, he practiced austerities for six years. He treats all sentient beings equally and impartially without duality. His mind constantly abides in samadhi, and from the beginning, it is not disturbed. He is without distraction, and his body is adorned with excellent marks and signs. Wherever he goes, the noise and clamor of the place become quiet. Even if his clothes do not touch his body by four fingers' width, they do not fall. When he walks, his eyes look straight ahead, and he does not look to the left or right. He does not swallow the food in his mouth coarsely. When he rises from a seated position, the grass in the place where he was sitting does not move or stir. Even though he goes to teach the Dharma in order to tame sentient beings, he is seen as having no arrogance. This is what is seen with the eyes. If the Bodhisattva takes seven steps and says, "This body of mine is the last," the sage Asita joins his palms and says, "Great King, know this. Prince Siddhartha will surely attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment and will not remain in the home to become a universal monarch. Why is that? Because the marks are clear. The marks of a universal monarch are not clear, but the marks of Prince Siddhartha are very clear, so he will surely attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment." Having seen old age, sickness, and death, he also says, "All sentient beings are very pitiable, always accompanied by birth, old age, sickness, and death. Because they are not awakened, they always experience suffering. I must cut it off." Then, from the sage Alara, he learned the meditation of the realm of nothingness from the five superknowledges, and after achieving it, he later saw it as a fault. Then, from the sage Udaka, he learned the meditation of neither perception nor non-perception, and after achieving it, he also realized that it was not nirvana but a dharma of samsara. Even though he practiced austerities for six years, he did not attain anything, so he said, "Practicing these austerities is meaningless. I have not attained anything. If there were something true, I should be able to attain it."

Since it is not pure, I have not gained anything. From this perspective, this is a wrong path, not a right path. After saying this, after perfect enlightenment, King Brahma requested the Thus Come One in this way: World Honored One, please, for the sake of sentient beings, widely open the door of Dharma with the supreme nectar. The World Honored One said to King Brahma in this way: All sentient beings are constantly obscured by the obscurations of afflictions, so they cannot grasp the words of my sacred Dharma. King Brahma again requested: World Honored One, all sentient beings have three types: sharp faculties, medium faculties, and dull faculties. I pray that you will teach and explain for those with sharp faculties, so that they can receive it. The World Honored One said: Great King, keep it well in mind and listen constantly, and I will open the door of nectar for all sentient beings. After saying this, in the city of Varanasi, he turned the wheel of the sacred Dharma and taught the Middle Way. What is the Middle Way? All sentient beings have not subdued all afflictions, nor is it impossible to subdue them, nor have they been subdued, nor have they not been subdued, this is the Middle Way. No sentient being has been liberated, nor has no one been liberated, this is the Middle Way. Everything is not accomplished, nor is it not accomplished, this is the Middle Way. No matter what is shown, one does not cling to oneself as a Khenpo, nor does one cling to being a disciple, this is the Middle Way. It is not shown for the sake of gain, nor is it not gaining the fruit, this is the Middle Way. True words, truthful words, timely words, upright words, and not speaking meaningless words in all speech, like this, realizing the supreme and sacred Dharma is seeing through hearing. Son of the lineage, the nature of the mind of the Thus Come One is not visible. If a son or daughter of the lineage wants to see the Thus Come One, they should abide in the two causes and conditions. After that, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Lion's Roar again requested the World Honored One in this way: World Honored One, as mentioned before, the four types of people are compared to mangoes, that
