ན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། དབང་པོ་རྟུལ་པོ་ཆིའུ་ལི་བན་ཏ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལ་ཡང་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏོ། །འདོད་ཆགས་མེད་པའི་རང་བཞིན་ཅན་འོད་སྲུང་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བར་གནང་བ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། འདོད་ཆགས་ཅན་བསྙེན་དགའ་བོ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལ་ཡང་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བར་གནང་ངོ་། །ཉོན་མོངས་པ་སྲབ་པ་ལྟེང་རྒྱས་འོད་སྲུང་ལ་སོགས་པ་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བར་གནང་བ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། ཁ་ན་མ་ཐོ་བའི་ལས་བྱས་པ་རྒྱལ་པོ་སྡེ་རབ་ཏུ་ཕམ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ནུ་བོ་སུ་ཏ་ལ་ཡང་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བར་གནང་ངོ་། །འཇག་མ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བསྟི་སྟང་དང་བཅས་པས་བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱས་ཏེ་ ཞེ་སྡང་རྩ་བ་ནས་བཏོན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། སོར་མོས་བརྒྱན་ངན་སེམས་ཀྱིས་གནོད་པར་བྱས་པ་ཡང་མ་བཀོལ་ཏེ་སྐྱབས་མཛད་དོ། །ཤེས་རབ་དང་ལྡན་པ་སྐྱེས་པ་འབའ་ཞིག་ལ་ཆོས་སྟོན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། ཤིན་ཏུ་གླེན་པ་བུད་མེད་གཡེམ་པ། གཡེམ་པའི་ཆོས་ལ་མཁས་པ་ལ་ཡང་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏོ། །རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བའི་འཁོར་བཞི་པོ་འབའ་ཞིག་གིས་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་འབྲས་བུ་ཐོབ་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། ཁྱིམ་ན་གནས་པས་ཀྱང་འབྲས་བུ་གསུམ་ཐོབ་པར་མཛད་དོ། །སུ་ཏ་ན་ལ་སོགས་པ་འདུ་འཛི་ཡོངས་སུ་སྤངས་པས་མཐར་སེམས་རྩེ་གཅིག་པ་འབའ་ཞིག་ལ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དོན་སྟོན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ཡུལ་གྱི་སྲིད་བྱེད་པ་ལ་ཡང་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དོན་སྟོན་ཏོ། །ཆང་ཡོངས་སུ་བཅད་པ་འབའ་ཞིག་ལ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དྲག་པོ་ཆང་གིས་ཤིན་ཏུ་མྱོས་པ་ལ་ཡང་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏོ། །ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་ལ་མཉམ་པར་བཞག་པ་ལི་པ་ཏ་ལ་སོགས་པ་འབའ་ཞིག་ལ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། བུ་ཤི་ནས་སེམས་འཁྲུགས་པ་བྲམ་ཟེ་མོ་བ་སི་ཏ་ལ་ཡང་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏོ། །བདག་གི་ཉེ་གནས་འབའ་ཞིག་ལ་མ་ཡིན་གྱི། མུ་སྟེགས་ཅན་གཅེར་བུ་པ་ལ་ཡང་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏོ། །ཤིན་ཏུ་ལང་ཚོ་ལ་བབ་པ་ཉི་ཤུ་ལྔ་ལོན་པ་འབའ་ཞིག་ལ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། རྒས་འཁོགས་པ་ལོ་བརྒྱད་ཅུ་ལོན་པ་ལ་ཡང་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏོ། །དབང་པོ་ཡོངས་སུ་སྨིན་པའི་གང་ཟག་འབའ་ཞིག་ལ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་མ་སྨིན་པ་ལ་ཡང་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏོ། །བཙུན་མོ་ཕྲེང་ལྡན་མ་འབའ་ཞིག་ལ་ཆོས་སྟོན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། སྦྲུལ་འཚོང་མ་པད་མོ་ལ་ཡང་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་སྡེ་རབ་ཏུ་ཕམ་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་ཕུལ་བའི་ཞལ་ཟས་རོ་མཆོག་བརྒྱད་དང་ལྡན་པའི་འབའ་ཞིག་བཞེས་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི། ཁྱིམ་བདག་ཤྲཱི་གུ་པ་ཏས་ཞལ་ཟས་དུག་དང་བསྲེས་ཏེ་ཕུལ་བ་ཡང་བཞེས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་འདི་ལྟར་རིག་པར་གྱིས་ཤིག །ཤྲཱི་གུ་པ་ཏ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་སྔོན་འདས་པའི་དུས་ན་ཡང

并非如此，对于根器迟钝的秋里班达等人也宣说佛法。并非只允许无贪之性的迦叶波等出家，对于有贪的喜乐者等人也允许出家。并非只允许烦恼轻微的莲花光等出家，对于做了恶业的国王胜军之弟苏达拉也允许出家。用名为“芦苇”的床座等供养，并非断绝了嗔恨的根源，对于用手指装饰、心怀恶意加害的人，也没有舍弃，而是给予救护。并非只对具有智慧的男子宣说佛法，对于极其愚笨的淫荡女子，以及精通淫法的女子也宣说佛法。并非只有出家的四众弟子才能获得菩提之果，居家之人也能获得三种果位。并非只对完全舍弃喧嚣，最终心无旁骛的苏达那等人宣说佛法的意义，对于国王具形心等治理地方政事的人也宣说佛法的意义。并非只对完全戒酒的人宣说佛法，对于豪富之家被酒彻底麻醉的人也宣说佛法。并非只对安住于禅定的利帕达等人宣说佛法，对于儿子死后心烦意乱的婆罗门女瓦西塔也宣说佛法。并非只对我的近侍宣说佛法，对于外道裸体派也宣说佛法。并非只对正值青春年华的二十五岁的人宣说佛法，对于年老体衰的八十岁的人也宣说佛法。并非只对根器成熟的人宣说佛法，对于善根尚未成熟的人也宣说佛法。并非只对王妃花鬘女宣说佛法，对于卖蛇女莲花也宣说佛法。并非只食用国王胜军供养的具有八种殊胜美味的食物，也食用施里笈多供养的掺有毒药的食物。大国王啊，应当如此了知！施里笈多在过去世也……

It is not the case that the Dharma is only taught to those with dull faculties, such as Qiu Libanda. It is not the case that only those with a nature free from attachment, such as the great Kashyapa, are allowed to be ordained. Even those with attachment, such as Nanda, are allowed to be ordained. It is not the case that only those with subtle afflictions, such as Utpalavarna, are allowed to be ordained. Even Suta, the brother of King Prasenajit, who has committed misdeeds, is allowed to be ordained. Having been honored with a bed called "Reed," it is not the case that hatred was eradicated from the root. Even those who were adorned with fingers and harmed with malicious intent were not abandoned, but were given refuge. It is not the case that the Dharma is only taught to men with wisdom. Even to extremely foolish, promiscuous women, and women skilled in the Dharma of promiscuity, the Dharma is taught. It is not the case that only the fourfold assembly of the ordained attain the fruit of enlightenment. Even those who remain in their homes are made to attain three fruits. It is not the case that the meaning of the Dharma is only taught to those who have completely abandoned distractions and ultimately have a single-pointed mind, such as Suddana. Even to King Bimbisara and others who govern the affairs of the country, the meaning of the Dharma is taught. It is not the case that the Dharma is only taught to those who have completely abstained from alcohol. Even to wealthy householders who are completely intoxicated with alcohol, the Dharma is taught. It is not the case that the Dharma is only taught to Lipata and others who are absorbed in samadhi. Even to the Brahmin woman Vasitha, who was distraught after the death of her son, the Dharma is taught. It is not only to my close attendants that the Dharma is taught. Even to the heretical naked ones, the Dharma is taught. It is not the case that the Dharma is only taught to those who are in the prime of youth, twenty-five years old. Even to the aged and decrepit, eighty years old, the Dharma is taught. It is not the case that the Dharma is only taught to individuals whose faculties are fully matured. Even to those whose roots of virtue are not yet matured, the Dharma is taught. It is not the case that the Dharma is only taught to the queen, Phrengdenma. Even to the snake charmer, Padma, the Dharma is taught. It is not the case that only the food with eight excellent flavors offered by King Prasenajit is eaten. Even the food mixed with poison offered by the householder Sri Gupta is eaten. O great king, know this! Sri Gupta, even in the past...
