English

Now, the great teacher, named Mipham Trawa (Tibetan: མི་ཕམ་སྐྲའི་ལ་བ་), is omniscient, all-seeing, and knows the three realms. In an instant, he can see limitless and countless worlds. Hearing is also the same. He can completely eliminate all the faults of all sentient beings, like the Ganges River, which is free from faults both internally and externally, and is completely pure. The great teacher can also eliminate all the inner and outer sins of all sentient beings. Now he teaches the Dharma to his attendants, saying: If someone kills all sentient beings without shame or fear, then he will never fall into hell, just as dust and water do not cling to the sky. If someone has shame and fear, then he will fall into hell, just as a great flood wets all the land. All sentient beings are also created by the one called the Lord of Gods (Tibetan: ལྷ་དབང་སྒྱུར་). If the Lord of Gods is happy, then all sentient beings will be happy. If the Lord of Gods is unhappy, then all sentient beings will suffer. All the sins and merits of all sentient beings are also created by the one called the Lord of Gods. Then, why do sins and merits change? For example, a carpenter uses a wooden automaton to perform actions such as walking, standing, sitting, and lying down, but it cannot speak. All sentient beings are the same, created by the one called the Lord of Gods. The one called the Lord of Gods is like a carpenter, and the automaton is like the body of all sentient beings. Then, where does the transformation of sin come from? Now, the great teacher who proclaims this truth resides in Rajagriha. Great King, quickly go to his abode, and by meeting him, you will completely eliminate your sins. The king said: If it is true that my sins can be eliminated, then I will take refuge in him. Then, the minister named Fearless came before the king and said: Great King, the fools in the world

The foolish ones are happy a hundred times a day, angry a hundred times, sleep a hundred times, wake up a hundred times, afraid a hundred times, and cry a hundred times. If a wise and intelligent person is so reckless, why is the great king so sad? For example, like a guest who has lost a friend, or is helpless after sinking in a swamp, or is thirsty and cannot quench his thirst, or is lost in the wilderness, or has a serious illness and no skilled doctor, or is helpless after entering the sea and the ship sinks. Is the great king now physically unwell or mentally disturbed? The king said: Where is there a time of physical and mental well-being? Because I relied on evil friends and did not carefully consider the faults of speech, I killed my father the king. Even if I am not devoured by demons and fall into hell, there is no one who can become my protector and refuge. The minister said: Great king, do not be so sad. The so-called royal family is the lineage of the king. If one commits the act of killing for the sake of the king's rule, or for the sake of monks, or for the sake of Brahmins, or for the sake of bringing happiness to many beings, there is no sin. Although the father king served monks, he did not serve Brahmins, so his mind was not equal. In this way, since his mind was not equal, he was not a royal. The great king killed the former king for the sake of serving Brahmins, and there is no sin. The so-called killing of the great king is actually non-existent. The so-called killing is the cutting off of the life of a living being. And the so-called life of a living being is breath. Since breath cannot be cut and killed, why would killing life become a sin? Great king, do not be sad. Why is that? Because those who are always sad, sadness will become a field for growth. Just like those who like to sleep, sleep will become a field for growth. Similarly, greed and attachment, as well as excessive trust in alcohol, should also be understood. It cannot be said, as the king said, that there are no skilled doctors in the world. Now.
