O you who dwell in the forest, please invite the great king to come there. That teacher can heal the pox, the body, and the mind as well. The king said: If what you say is true, and if he can make me without fault, then I shall go to him for refuge. Furthermore, a minister named 'Obtained the Essence' came before the king and spoke thus: Great king, why is your face gloomy and your mouth dry, like the voice of a coward trembling when encountering an enemy, and without radiance? Why are you unhappy? Is it in the body, or is it in the mind? The king said: How could I possibly be without sickness in body and mind? I am blinded by ignorance, without the eye of wisdom, having relied on an unwholesome friend, followed the sins of one like Devadatta, listened to the words of sinful people, and killed my innocent father, the king, who lived by the true Dharma. I have previously heard this verse from a wise and learned scholar: Whoever generates an unwholesome mind towards their father and mother, and the Buddhas, and their attendants, and performs deeds that become sinful, the ripening of that will be to be born in the Avici hell. Therefore, I am extremely fearful, tormented by great suffering, yet there is no skilled physician who can heal me. That minister then spoke again: Great king, for a while, do not grieve. There are two kinds of Dharma: the Dharma of renunciation and the Dharma of kings. The so-called Dharma of kings, although killing one's father is called an action of immediate retribution in the king's land, it does not become a sin. For example, like the Kaka insect that pierces its mother's womb and is born, it is born that way by nature, so although it harms the mother's body in that way, it does not become a sin, and the birth of offspring such as mules is also the same. The Dharma of the king's rule is also like that by nature, so even if the king kills his father, it does not become a sin. The Dharma of renunciation is different, as even killing an ant when one is young becomes a sin, so great king, do not grieve for a while. Why is that? Because...

Wherever sorrow is made, sorrow will be born in the future. Just as one who loves sleep, so too will sleep be abundant in the future. Likewise, greed and craving, and great devotion to alcohol should also be known. As the king said, it should not be said that there is no skilled physician to heal body and mind. Now, the great teacher, named Kari, daughter of the herdsman, is all-knowing, all-seeing, loving all beings like an only child, having completely abandoned afflictions, extracting the thorns of the three poisons from all beings, the great teacher who teaches all the dharmas that all beings do not know, do not see, and do not understand, only he knows and sees. Through realization, he constantly teaches his attendants this dharma: The body of all beings has seven component parts. What are the seven? They are earth, water, fire, wind, suffering, happiness, and the life force that sustains life. Thus, these seven dharmas are not illusory or created, they are indestructible. For example, the root of the Ishika grass is always present and does not move. Mount Meru, the king of mountains, neither abandons nor creates. For example, milk and yogurt cannot be said to be suffering, nor can they be said to be happiness, nor can they be said to be good, nor can they be said to be evil, there is no dispute, and sharp weapons cannot harm them. Why is this? Because these seven forms are empty, so there is no obstruction. Life also cannot be cut off. Why is this? Because there is neither killing nor dying, neither creating nor experiencing, neither speaking nor hearing, neither realizing nor teaching. He always teaches these dharmas, and that great teacher who pacifies all the sins of many beings now resides in Rajagriha. Great king, please go to where that great teacher is. Just by seeing him, all sins will be purified. The king said: If he can indeed eliminate my sins, I should take refuge in him. Furthermore, a minister named Truth Attained came to where the king was and reported in verses: Great king, why have you removed all the ornaments from your body, and the hair on your head as well?
