That Bodhisattva-Mahasattva completely knows the Dharma of Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas. To correctly know each meaning is that, although there are three forms of vehicle, when knowing that they converge into one, there is no distinct nature of each. To correctly know each word is that, even if the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva establishes various different names for one Dharma, even if they explain it for immeasurable kalpas, it will not be exhausted, but Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas do not have the place to be able to explain it in that way. To correctly know each fearlessness is that, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva teaches all sentient beings the Dharma for immeasurable kalpas, even if they explain various different names and meanings, there is no end to it. Son of good family, furthermore, to correctly know each Dharma is that, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva knows all Dharmas in that way, but has no attachment to it. To correctly know each meaning is to know the meanings, but not to be attached to it. To correctly know each word is that the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva knows names and words, but has no attachment to it. To correctly know each fearlessness is that, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva teaches and explains in that way, even if they know it is supreme, they are not attached to it. What is the reason for that? Son of good family, if one becomes attached, one is not called a Bodhisattva. The Bodhisattva Light Protector again said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, if one is not attached, one will not seek the Dharma. Whoever seeks the Dharma is attached, and whoever seeks without attachment has not sought anything. Why does the Tathagata say that there is no attachment to seeking the Dharma? The Bhagavan said: Son of good family, as much as there is attachment, there is no unobstructedness, and only without attachment is there called unobstructedness. Son of good family, therefore all Bodhisattvas are the same, if there is attachment, there is no unobstructedness. If there is no unobstructedness, one cannot be called a Bodhisattva, one should know that it is a vulgar commoner. Why is a vulgar commoner called one who is attached? Because all vulgar commoners are attached to form up to consciousness. Attached to form.

Due to the cause of earth, the mind of desire arises. Having generated the mind of desire, from being bound by form, up to being bound by consciousness. Thus, being bound by bondage, one is not liberated from birth, old age, sickness, death, sorrowful lamentation, great suffering of wailing, and all afflictions. Therefore, whoever is attached is called a base child, and thus, all base children do not possess the four individual perfect knowledges. Son of lineage, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva has come to know and see all dharmas for immeasurable and countless eons. Having known and seen thus, one also comes to know the meaning. Having known the nature of dharma and knowing the meaning, one does not generate attachment to forms, and it is the same up to consciousness. Thus, not being attached, the Bodhisattva does not generate a mind of attachment to form, and does not generate a mind of attachment up to consciousness. Thus, without attachment, one is not bound by form, and is not bound up to consciousness. Thus, not being bound by consciousness, one is liberated from birth, old age, sickness, death, sorrowful lamentation, great suffering of wailing, and all afflictions. Therefore, all Bodhisattvas will obtain the four individual perfect knowledges. Son of lineage, due to that cause and that condition, for my attendants, even among the twelve scriptures, being bound by attachment is called being bound by Mara. Whoever is not attached is called being liberated from the bondage of Mara. For example, in the world, whoever commits a crime will be bound by the king. Whoever is without fault, even the king will not bind him. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva is also the same; whoever is bound by attachment is called being bound by Mara. Whoever is not bound by attachment is called not being bound by Mara. Therefore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is without attachment. Son of lineage, furthermore, knowing the individual perfect knowledge of dharmas is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva's mastery of the dharani of letters.
