The excellence of the five sensual pleasures Although attached to the sacred Dharma, they do not diligently exert themselves in diligence, therefore they are impoverished in virtuous Dharma. Those heretics, although they desire true liberation, do not possess the foundation of guarding morality. Those heretics, although they desire happiness, cannot find the causes and conditions that turn into happiness. Those heretics, although they do not desire all that turns into suffering, do not abandon all actions that turn into the cause of suffering. Those heretics are entangled by the four great poisonous snakes, and even with gaps, they act carelessly. Those heretics are completely covered by ignorance, therefore they abandon virtuous friends, and because they are fond of dwelling in the three realms, they cannot be liberated from the great fire of impermanence. Those heretics, although afflicted by the heavy and difficult-to-cure disease of afflictions, do not seek a wise physician. Those heretics, although they must travel a long, endless, and dangerous road in the future, do not know how to accumulate the Dharma of happiness, nor do they know that it turns into their own adornment. Those heretics, although they will be killed by the poison of desire, are attached to the poison of the five sensual pleasures. Those heretics, although the fire of hatred is blazing and spreading, rely on unwholesome friends. Those heretics, although covered and suppressed by ignorance, seek wrong and evil views. Those heretics, although constantly deceived by evil views, generate the thought of virtuous friends towards them. Those heretics, although they hope for delicious fruit, sow the seeds of bitter fruit. Those heretics, although they enter the dark room of afflictions, abandon the lamp of great wisdom. Those heretics, although extremely tormented by afflictions and extremely thirsty, drink the salty water of desire. Those heretics, although distracted by the endless ocean of samsara, abandon the unsurpassed boat. Those heretics, although extremely deluded by inversion, say that all actions are permanent, but there is no place where all actions are permanent. Son of lineage, I see,

All actions are impermanent. How is that known? It is known through cause and condition. To the extent that all phenomena born from conditions should be recognized as impermanent. Therefore, all the doctrines of the Tirthikas, not even one is not born from conditions. Son of the lineage, the nature of the Buddha is unborn, unceasing, there is no coming, there is no going, it is not past, it is not future, it is not presently arising, it is not made from cause, it is not made from no cause, it is not unmade, it is not made, it is not a sign, it is not without a sign, it is not with a name, it is not without a name, it is not a name, it is not form, it is not long, it is not short, it is not the aggregates and elements, it does not belong to the sense bases, therefore it is called permanent. Son of the lineage, the nature of the self-Buddha is the Tathagata. The Tathagata is Dharma. Dharma is permanent. Son of the lineage, what is called permanent is the Tathagata. The Tathagata is the Sangha. The Sangha is permanent. The meaning is such that all phenomena born from conditions should not be called permanent, for not even one of those Tirthikas' doctrines is not born from conditions. Son of the lineage, because the Tirthikas do not see the nature of the Buddha and the Tathagata and the Dharma, therefore all that the Tirthikas say is false, there is no true truth. Base and foolish people, having previously seen a vase and clothes and a vehicle and a house and a city and a river and a mountain and a forest and a man and a woman and a yak and a horse and a cow and a sheep and so on, if they later see something similar, they say it is permanent, but in reality, that is not permanent. Son of the lineage, all conditioned things are impermanent. Space and the unconditioned are called permanent. The nature of the Buddha is unconditioned, therefore it is called permanent. What is called space is the nature of the Buddha. The nature of the Buddha is the Tathagata. The Tathagata is unconditioned. The unconditioned is permanent. Permanent is Dharma. Dharma is Sangha. Sangha is unconditioned. The unconditioned is permanent.
