Since we already have it, what else is there to do? The ministers replied: "Yes, that's right. Great King, the Western Godaniya continent has not yet been subdued." Then the king, with the seven precious things, all rose into the sky and set out for the Western Godaniya. As soon as the king arrived there, all the people living there obeyed his command. The king then said to the ministers: "The people living in the Southern Jambudvipa, the Eastern Purvavideha, and the Western Godaniya are very happy and obedient. Since we already have the seven precious things and a thousand sons, what else is there to do?" The ministers replied: "Yes, that's right. Great King, the Northern Uttarakuru has not yet been subdued." Then the king, again with the seven precious things, all rose into the sky and set out for the Northern Uttarakuru. As soon as they arrived there, all the people living there were very happy and obeyed his command. Then the king again said to the ministers: "The people living in the four continents are very happy and obedient. Since we already have the seven precious things and a thousand sons, what else is there to do?" The ministers replied: "Yes, that's right. Great King, the gods of the Thirty-Three are very long-lived and extremely happy. The bodies of the gods are also very beautiful, incomparable, and the palaces they live in, the thrones they sit on, and the beds they sleep on are all made of the seven precious things. Because the gods are arrogant and do not obey the king's command, they should be conquered and subdued." Then the Chakravartin king, with the seven precious things, all rose into the sky and set out for the Heaven of the Thirty-Three. When they arrived there, they saw a tree that was blue in color and asked the ministers: "What is this blue thing?" The ministers replied: "This tree is called the Pārijāta tree, and the gods of the Heaven of the Thirty-Three enjoy and play under this tree for three months in the summer." They also saw something that was white in color, like a white cloud, and asked, "What is this?" The ministers replied: "This is"

The Good Dharma Hall of the Heaven of Thirty-Three, where the gods of the Heaven of Thirty-Three gather and tell stories of gods and humans. At that time, Indra, the Lord of the Gods, also knew that King Mandhata had come, so he went out to greet him, took his hand, and went together to the Good Dharma Hall, sharing half of his seat to sit together. At that time, when the two kings sat together, there was no difference in appearance and characteristics, only the way of looking and the closing of the eyes were slightly different. At that time, the Chakravartin King thought to himself: Can I seize the power of this King of Gods and replace him? Good son, at that time, Indra, the Lord of the Gods, held, upheld, recited, and chanted the Mahayana Sutras, and also expounded them to others, but he did not fully comprehend the extremely profound meaning. It is precisely because he held, upheld, recited, and chanted the Mahayana Sutras, and widely expounded them to others, that he possessed great splendor due to this cause and condition. Good son, at that time, King Mandhata, because he harbored evil thoughts towards Indra, immediately fell from the heavenly realm to Jambudvipa, separated from the pleasures of the heavenly realm and humans, and experienced great suffering, and then died from illness. At that time, the one who became Indra was the Buddha Kashyapa, and that Chakravartin King is now me. Good son, therefore know that separation from desires is great suffering. Good son, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva remembers the suffering of separation in past lives, what more can be said about how a Bodhisattva abiding in the Mahayana Nirvana Sutra would feel about the suffering of separation from desires in the present life? Good son, how should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practice the Mahayana Nirvana Sutra in order to be free from the suffering of encountering enemies?
