May all discomfort be eliminated. Furthermore, may all sentient beings extract the pain of malice and attain the unsurpassed radiance of the Tathagata. Furthermore, may all sentient beings enter the profound treasure of the Dharma, the great medicine of the Tathagata's wisdom. I make this aspiration. World Honored One, the Bodhisattva also made such aspirations for immeasurable, countless, and incalculable hundreds of thousands of kalpas: If I can make all sentient beings free from illness, why would the Tathagata lean back? The World Honored One further taught that some patients in the world cannot sit, cannot rise, cannot walk, and cannot stop. They cannot digest food or drink, and even if they are shown and treated by their children, they cannot. They cannot even do the work of maintaining their livelihood. At that time, their parents, wives, children, relatives, friends, and others will all think that he will surely die. World Honored One, the Tathagata is also like that, lying on his right side and not saying a word, so foolish people in this Jambudvipa will think like this: The perfectly enlightened Tathagata must have passed into Nirvana and given rise to the thought of cessation and exhaustion. The Tathagata himself did not completely pass into Nirvana in the end. Why is that? Because the Tathagata is constant, unchanging, and immutable. Because of this cause and this reason, I lean back like this, this is the race he spoke of. World Honored One, furthermore, some patients in the world are very emaciated and thin, and cannot get up from lying on their back or side. At that time, the attendants will also develop a sense of disgust towards him, thinking that he will be devoured by ghosts and die. The Tathagata is also like that, the ninety-five types of heretics are displeased, thinking that he will pass into Nirvana. The heretics will say this: We and others are constant by the laws of self, master, time, and subtle particles, so there is no change or movement. But the Shramana Gautama is impermanent, and is taken away to change and move.

It is said that it has become a thing of dharma. Therefore, the Blessed One did not speak at all, but was of the lineage of sleeping on his right side. Blessed One, furthermore, the sick in the world are debilitated by the four great elements, and their parts are unbalanced, becoming very thin and dry. Therefore, they cannot rise and sit down at will, but can only lie down. The Tathagata also does not have unbalanced four great elements, and also possesses the power of the body, and is not thin and dry. Blessed One, the strength of ten small yaks is not equal to the strength of one large yak. The strength of ten large yaks is not equal to the strength of one blue large yak.
