Furthermore, for example, milk merchants, in order to increase the amount of milk, add two-thirds water and sell it to other merchants. That merchant also adds two-thirds water to that milk and sells it to people near the city. That person also adds two-thirds water to it and sells it to people living in the city. After buying it, that person adds another two-thirds water to it and sells it in the market. At that time, a person who is hosting a wedding for his son and wants good milk goes to the market to buy milk, and encounters that milk that has been diluted with water. Although he knows it has been diluted with a lot of water, he buys it at a high price because he urgently needs it. After buying it and going home to cook porridge, it has no milk flavor. Although it has no milk flavor, it is a hundred or a thousand times better than the taste of water. Why? Because the taste transformed by milk is more excellent than other tastes. Son of good family, for eighty years after my nirvana, before the true Dharma is destroyed, at that time, in that era, this sutra division will be very prosperous in this Jambudvipa (Southern Continent). At that time, in that era, wicked monks will abridge this sutra division, dividing it into many parts, thus causing the color, smell, and taste of the true Dharma to disappear. Wicked ones may read or recite this sutra division in this way, but they will cause the profound meaning spoken by the Tathagata after careful consideration to disappear. Instead, they will take meaningless worldly poems, put what was said earlier at the end, put what was said later at the beginning, put what was said at the beginning and end in the middle, and put what was said in the middle at the beginning and end. In this way, those wicked monks are accomplices of Mara, saying, 'Even if one holds things that have not been examined, the Tathagata allows it.' Just as milk sellers add water to milk, wicked monks are like them, adding worldly words and establishing them as errors, thus preventing many people from understanding correctly, copying correctly into books, and teaching others correctly, thereby causing people to no longer respect, praise, offer, and serve it.

If that sinful bhikshu, for the sake of gain and fame, cannot even expound a little of this sutra, what need is there to mention expounding it extensively? Just as a poor milkmaid sells milk from one place to another, causing it to lose its flavor, this Mahayana sutra, the Great Nirvana Sutra, is also the same. Spreading it outwards will cause it to become tasteless and lose its savor. Even though it has lost its flavor in this way, it is still a thousand times superior to other things, just as the taste of milk is a thousand times superior to other tastes. Why is this? Because this Mahayana sutra, the Great Nirvana Sutra, is more excellent and श्रेष्ठ than the sutras of the Shravakas, just as milk is श्रेष्ठ than all tastes. Therefore, it is called the Great Nirvana Sutra. Good son, furthermore, whether it is a good son or a good daughter, etc., there is no one who does not desire the body of a man. Why is this? Because all women are the source of all sins. Good son, again, for example, the urine of a bee cannot moisten this great earth. The insatiable desire of women is also the same. For example, even if the entire earth were rolled up into men the size of mustard seeds, and a woman engaged in impure conduct with them, she would not have a sense of satisfaction. Even if men as numerous as the sands of the Ganges were given to a woman, and she was allowed to engage in impure conduct, she would not be satisfied or weary. Good son, for example, even if all the rain and rivers flow into the great ocean, the ocean will not be filled or satisfied. The nature of women is also the same, even if all things were to become men, and they engaged in impure conduct with one woman, she would not feel satisfied or weary. Good son, again, for example, like the Ashoka tree, the Patala tree, and the Kanika tree, when they bloom in summer, the bees insatiably take the nectar and fragrance. The attachment of women to men is also the same, they do not know weariness. Good son, therefore, good sons and good daughters, if they hear this Mahayana Great Nirvana Sutra, should always stay away from wo-
