It exists, even if a thousand are created, it cannot be done. Light Increase Bodhisattva further inquired: Birds such as the Kalanda bird have very pleasant voices and different bodies, why did the Tathagata use the example of a crow? It is like using a mustard seed to exemplify Mount Sumeru, the Bhagavan and space are also the same. The voice of the Kalanda bird can be used as an example of the voice of the Buddha Bhagavan, but not as an example of the voice of a crow. Then, the Bhagavan said to the Bodhisattva Light Increase: Very good, very good! You are very skilled in profound meanings. The Tathagata sometimes, considering causes and conditions, speaks of space as an example of liberation. Thus, liberation is the Tathagata. True liberation cannot be created by all beings in the world, including gods and humans. Although space cannot truly be an example, it is spoken of as an example to tame sentient beings, even though it cannot be an example of space. Therefore, liberation itself should be understood as the Tathagata. The Tathagata himself is liberation. Liberation and the Tathagata are non-dual and inseparable. Son of good family, what is called 'cannot be exemplified' means that things that cannot be created cannot be directly exemplified, but in some cases of causes and conditions, they can be exemplified. It is also said in the sutras: 'The face is like a full moon,' and 'A very white woolly elephant is like a snow mountain.' It cannot be said that the full moon is the face, nor can it be said that the snow mountain is the woolly elephant. Son of good family, although liberation cannot be exemplified by examples, examples are shown to tame sentient beings. Through many examples, the Dharma nature of all dharmas can also be understood. Eighth Chapter. Light Increase Bodhisattva further inquired: Why does the Tathagata speak of two kinds? The Bhagavan said: Son of good family, for example, if a person holding a sword comes to kill the Tathagata with a mind of hatred, the Tathagata does not...

If one is angry and equipped with radiance and weapons, would that person then commit the karma of immediate retribution by killing the Tathagata? No, Lord. Why, Lord? Because the body of the Tathagata cannot be destroyed. How is that? Because the body possesses only the nature of non-body, and the nature of all phenomena is indestructible. How could that person destroy the body of the Buddha? Although he cannot, with a sinful mind, he will fall into the body of immediate retribution. Therefore, for example, the nature of all phenomena can be understood. Then, the Lord said to the Bodhisattva Light Protector: "Very good, very good! Son of good family, you have asked better than I have spoken. Son of good family, for example, a wicked man, intending not to kill someone, went to work in the field to deliver food to the workers, but then he thought of killing him, sharpened his sword, and prepared to act. The mother sensed this and hid in a pile of stacked rice. The man took his sword and circled the pile of rice, striking it with his sword, thinking, 'I have killed him!' and a joyful feeling arose in his mind. Later, his mother emerged from the pile of rice and returned home. What do you think? Did that man commit the sin of immediate retribution?" The Bodhisattva replied, "Lord, certainly not." The Lord asked, "Why is that? Because his sin did not cause the mother's body to be destroyed. If the body was not destroyed, how can it be said that he is guilty? Although it cannot be said that he is not guilty, he thought, 'I have killed him!' and a joyful feeling arose, it cannot be said that he is not guilty either. Although that man did not complete the karma of immediate retribution, he did the deed of immediate retribution. Therefore, from cause and condition, the nature of all phenomena can be understood." The Lord said, "Very good, very good! Son of good family, because cause and condition are like this, I have spoken of the example of liberation through various methods and examples. Although shown by countless immeasurable examples, in reality it cannot be fully expressed by examples, but in some cases of cause and condition, it can be shown by examples. Cause
