Liberation is not like that. Such liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, a lost person is like abandoning a small, broken boat and boarding a good boat, safely crossing the ocean and reaching a place of happiness. Liberation is also like that, it is extreme inner peace. Extreme inner peace is true liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is said to arise from causes and conditions. For example, yogurt arises from the condition of milk, butter arises from the condition of yogurt, and the essence of butter arises from the condition of butter. But true liberation has no cause whatsoever. Having no cause is true liberation, and true liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is the subduing of pride. For example, a great king feels pride towards lesser kings. Liberation is not like that. Such liberation is the Tathagata. The Tathagata is the Dharma. Furthermore, liberation is the subduing of negligence. Negligence is having many desires. Liberation does not have those. Not having those is true liberation. True liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is the removal of ignorance. For example, that which is free from impurities is a supreme medicine, the essence of butter. Liberation is also like that, removing the impurities of ignorance and possessing true wisdom. Possessing true wisdom is true liberation, and true liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is the utterly peaceful solitude, not being two, like a wild yak in a solitary hermitage, alone without a companion. Liberation is also like that, being one, without duality. Being one, without duality is true liberation, and true liberation is the Tathagata. Furthermore, liberation is firm and has essence. Bamboo, reeds, and grass are all hollow, but the fruit is firm. Except for the Buddha, the Blessed One, all beings in the world, including gods and humans, are not firm and unstable.

Our perfect liberation is far removed from all continuity of existence. Such liberation is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore, liberation is the generation of manifest knowledge. True and complete liberation is also the same as this. Such liberation is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore, liberation is the abandonment of all existence. Just as a person who has eaten his fill vomits, so too is liberation, abandoning all existence. Abandoning all existence is true and complete liberation. True and complete liberation is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore, liberation is not eaten by demons. Just as the fragrance of the Pāśika flower is not found on the seven petals, so too is liberation. Such liberation is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore, liberation is like the water element. For example, the water element is the best among the four great elements, moistening and lubricating all plants and fruits. Liberation is also the same, moistening all births. Such liberation is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore, liberation is called entering. Just as having a door means having entry, and having a gold mine means having gold, so too is liberation, enabling those who meditate on selflessness to enter. Such liberation is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore, liberation is virtue. Just as a student who follows a teacher and listens to instructions is called virtuous, so too is liberation. Such liberation is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore, liberation is the transcendental Dharma, the most excellent of all Dharmas. Just as among all tastes, butter and milk are the best, so too is liberation. Such liberation is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore, liberation is called immovability. Just as a door threshold cannot be moved by the wind, so too is true and complete liberation. Such liberation is the Thus-Gone One. Furthermore, liberation is without waves.

The water of the ocean of Raṇa is turbulent with waves. Liberation is not like that; such liberation is the Tathāgata. Furthermore, liberation is like a king's palace. Liberation is also like that; such liberation is the Tathāgata. Furthermore, why is liberation so necessary? For example, why is the gold of the Jambu River so necessary? Because it is without fault. Liberation is also like that, without fault. Being without fault is true liberation; true liberation is the Tathāgata. Furthermore, what is called liberation is abandoning the act of impure deeds. For example, a great man does not perform impure deeds. Liberation is also like that, completely abandoning the five aggregates. Completely abandoning the five aggregates is true liberation; true liberation is the Tathāgata. Furthermore, liberation is ultimate. For example, if someone is imprisoned in a dungeon and is freed from it, they first bathe thoroughly and then go home. Liberation is also like that, ultimately pure. Ultimately pure is true liberation; true liberation is the Tathāgata. Furthermore, liberation is uncreated bliss. Uncreated bliss is because of abandoning all such as desire, hatred, and ignorance. For example, if a person is unknowingly bitten by a venomous snake, an emetic is given to remove the venom. After vomiting, the poison is gone, and the body is at ease. Liberation is also like that; by vomiting out all the poison of afflictions, the body becomes comfortable, and it is called uncreated bliss. Uncreated bliss is true liberation; true liberation is the Tathāgata. Furthermore, liberation is said to be the cutting off of the venomous snakes of the four types of afflictions. Cutting off afflictions is true liberation; true liberation is the Tathāgata. Furthermore, liberation is abandoning all existence. All suffering ceases, bliss
